The reasons to forget and remember are almost the same.

I kinda noticed that the princes have a dramatic and/or traumatic backstory that, like, tortures them or at least occupy their minds a lot.

AND THEN THERE’S CHEVALIER, who doesn’t give a flying fuck about his childhood and how people see and fear him, and he’s just, “I’m gonna crush all the rebels I’m gonna crush all the enemies I’m doing this for Rhodolite I WILL BE KING.”

All the other princes have interior drama but Chevalier has other people going through the drama over his character lmao

What I’m saying is, I love him so much.

OP I really, really hope you don’t mind me hopping into your notes but I just wanna talk about this for a second— cause even tho Chev doesn’t really seem “traumatised” in comparison to the other princes, in reality he is, and it’s an interesting topic to talk about for me.
