How Does It Feel
It feels like every secret you whispered to them has been trickling into another’s ear one by one. It feels like every vulnerability that you’ve ever experienced all rush through your veins at once with none yielding to your intense screams. It feels like the worst possible form of betrayal that one person can force upon another. It feels like everything good and honest and lovely that you’ve ever experienced was all a facade and consequently a figment of your imagination. It feels like the person you so easily trusted with your life took it away them self, then sold your corpse to the one they betrayed you with. This may all seem very dramatic, but having someone cheat on you hurts you to your core. It makes you forget how to breathe and everything seems obsolete except the blurred image of your once trusted companion now on top of some stranger that doesn’t even owe you a smile. It leaves you feeling numb at one point, dead; and for every time you’re misunderstood or painted to be the problem because you haven’t gotten over the monster under your bed, it’s like a knife is being forced into your heart and twisted, not pushed deeper, just twisted, each and every time.
