○ PANSY PARKINSON
she grew up with her parents who never really paid any attention to her, unless it was to criticize her and say how "she could do better".
shes not a good student, she usually gets average grades, not because she is not intelligent enough but because she doesn't try.
she is very competitive, even for the smallest things. game night at the slytherin common room usually ends in a bloodshed when pansy loses. that's why some times people let her win, just to avoid her pettiness.
she doesn't expess her feelings by words, she does it by actions. she won't say " i love you ", but she will make sure that daphne doesnt stay up late before an exam or that theo is eating well.
shes also very protective of her friends and holds grudges. you hurt her or her friends once and you better get ready for your grandchildren to deal with the consequences.
she doesn't apologise easily, shes too proud to do that.
she is the best at cheating on exams, considers it her special talent.
despite not showing it, she becomes quite easily attached to people.
○ BLAISE ZABINI
he has photographic memory and that is why he's never really stressed about school. he also has great memory.
he can persuade you to do anything. he knows exactly what to say or do to make you do what he wants you to.
he has the loudest laugh in the friend group.
he's the best person to go to when you need to be comforted, but you dont want to talk about it.
he is very expressive, meaning that he likes physical contact. one will often see him with his arm around one his friends, touching their shoulder or laying his head on their lap.
he is a total mommy's boy. he's very close with his mother, since its just them in the family.
having been raised by a single mother, he is a total gentleman.
he has the best fashion sense and the most expensive taste in simply everything. if it doesnt cost the minimum wage, it isnt worth it in his eyes.
he is the mediator of the friend group, usually the one to resolve most conflicts before things go chaotic.
○ DAPHNE GREENGRASS
she's the most cheerful and outgoing of all of them. she likes being around people, socializing and gossiping.
like blaise, shes very expressive and into pda.
she is messy. messy room, messy notes, messy handwriting, messy everything.
she has a lot of clothes, like a lot. she doesnt mind letting her friends borrow some of her clothes, in fact she encourages them to (especially pansy, because according to daphne, she really needs to put some colour in her life other than black).
while she is the sweetest, she has a short temper and if you piss her off, she's not going to be passive aggressive like pansy. she will snap and yell, she has been known to even throw things.
her sister is her number one enemy but also her favourite person in the entire world.
she has a great singing voice.
shes great at comforting people and giving advice, especially when it comes to romance. shes the self proclaimed cupid of hogwarts and is proud of her matchmaking abilities.
the best hype woman one could ever hope to have.
if theres a party, daphne is attending. she claims her purpose in life is to travel the world and have some fun.
○ TRACEY DAVIS
she has anxiety, which is apparent when you meet her. she generally is kind of an neurotic person.
she is also very shy at first, but after getting comfortable around people, she is really opinionated and argumentative. would excel on a debate club.
a theatre kid. in a modern au, i can totally imagine her playing veronica in heathers for some reason.
shes good with kids, she is the one first and second years usually go to when they have a problem.
shes in a mom friend mode all the time.
she is known to hate every person that her friends date, sticks to her belief that " no one will ever be good enough for them ".
friends with all the ghosts. literally. no one knows why or when did that happen, but the ghosts always have her back.
ace aro! tracy for the win.
shes one of the few slytherins that always liked hagrid and actively participated in his lessons.
○ THEODORE NOTT
incredibly intelligent, competing with granger for the title of the brightest student of their year.
a perfectionist, especially when it comes to school work. prefers to be late on an assignment, rather than hand it if it's not that great.
again, a gentleman. the kind of boy who will hand you his coat if it's cold, to pull the chair for you to sit, not because he has to but because he wants to.
hates his father with a burning passion and will do anything to avoid becoming like him.
wants to become an inventor but also a writer. has high expectations of himself.
he appears to be quite intimidating, as he doesnt talk much and he prefers to observe and listen rather than talk, but hes actually the sweetest when you get to meet him.
naturally a very jealous person.
was always very intrigued by muggle culture, but never acted on it as he was afraid of his father and of ruining his reputation.
somehow he sleeps 3-5 hours a day and is still alive. spends most of his sleepless nights at the common room.
really good at playing chess. he has yet to find another worthy opponent.
