Hello so an update!! I have a private (ish) multimuse up with Donna Sheridan as a muse (and others!!) for those of you who had threads with her!! @vixlentdelightsvixlentends 💕💕

Hey so this blog is on a temp hiatus and I do apologize for that. It was just overwhelming. I have about 20 icons and no means to get any more for Donna. So I took a break to take my other blog off hiatus and improve it because it was completely default w/ minimal icons. So I did so, and I’m really glad I did. I don’t know how long I will be on hiatus, but if you want to keep in touch or rp with me, my discord is xthedancingqueenx#4265, and the AHS multimuse blog I’m currently active on is @acts-of-treason. Vanya was familiar with Donna. They were friends. She just hadn’t been expecting to see her here at Camp Redwood. Though, now that she thought about it, it made sense for her to be a counselor in something to do with the arts. Like, singing or performing. Still….it was something of a SURPRISE to see her there. Seemed to be arriving at the same time as Vanya and her newfound friends. What a coincidence! A happy coincidence, “ Donna! ” She exclaimed, hopping out of Xavier’s van and stretching her arms over her head before practically skipping over to the blonde with a wide grin plastered across her face. Absolutely no care in the world for the hiker they’d hit and was still in the back of the van. Hell, she’d probably FORGOTTEN about him completely, “ You a counselor here, too? Small fuckin’ world. ”

Donna smiles wide. “Vanya! I’m actually the art director! You should totally come help with the classes.” Donna says with a cheeky wink. “I didn’t take you for the type to do shit like this!” Donna teases, eyes twinkling. It was a small world if Vanya was here. A crazy one too.

“ Ah. ” Vanya breathed, nodding her head ever so slightly as she ashed her cigarette on the sidewalk, “ Yeah, people used to think the same of me when I was younger. ” She remembered, it was always so HARD to get people to take her seriously when she was a young girl trying to make her living in her chosen line of work. But, now that everyone in the shady underground knew who she was, she didn’t have that problem. Even when she did, all she had to do was jab a blade into a few necks and everything was solved.

“Oh yeah? Care to share?” Donna asks, half out of curiosity, and half out of the weird feeling she got from this stranger. Donna was not all bark. People knew that. Regulars were usually rowdy, the exception being when Donna was around. People didn't start fights in her bar, because she knew how to break them up. She didn’t take shit, and she certainly never got hit. Not since she beat the shit out of a dude who was harassing one of her workers.

“Yeah.. I was.” Donna says sheepishly. She had been trying to get his attention. She had gotten lost in the unfamiliar town and needed help getting back to where she was supposed to be. “I got a little turned around. Could you give me some directions or something? I dunno.” Donna asks quickly, rubbing the back of her neck.

Penny blinks up at the other, moving to push some hair from his face as he listened to her. Noting he had not seen her around before,but then again, he didn’t get out too much. At least not around other people. “Oh, sorry, I was a bit… lost. But yeah, sounds good. Where were you tryin’ to get to?” Penny smiles then, a soft nervous little smile. @xthedancingqueenx

“Uhh, I’m trying to make it to the library. I’m new here and I was following the directions I was given, but the person who gave them was full of shit.” Donna says, chuckling as she finishes her sentence. “I’m Donna by the way.”

“I do.” Donna says with a grin, matching the other woman’s excitement. This woman was beautiful and that fact that she could sing thrilled Donna. She had spent her time hopping bars, which happened to be where she was when she saw the beautiful blonde. On stage with a live band, owning her stage. “I don’t currently, but I did a lot of theatre in primary and secondary school.”

Despite the fact that the other woman didn’t act, Beatrice still found herself smiling and her excitement certainly was not lessened. In fact, now she was opening smiling, dark green hues sparkling with happiness as she looked at the other, “ You should get back into it, it’s so much fun and it goes so well with singing. ” She was kind of RAMBLING, but was too thrilled to be self conscious about it, “ If you you want to, of course. ” Bee added, brows raising slightly as her hand gently met the other blonde’s arm.

Donna grins in return. “I might just have to. You’re pretty persuasive.” She says, a cheeky grin on her face. “Got any good places for me to consider?” Donna asks, a twinkle in her eye.

Alabama legislators on Tuesday voted to ban abortions in nearly all cases, making the state the seventh this year to pass abortion restrictions that could challenge the constitutional right established in Roe v. Wade.

Alabama’s bill is the first outright ban on abortion; other measures limited the procedure to earlier in pregnancy.

Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi and Ohio stopped short of outright bans, instead passing so-called heartbeat bills that effectively prohibit abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, when doctors can usually start detecting a fetal heartbeat. Utah and Arkansas voted to limit the procedure to the middle of the second trimester.

Most other states follow the standard set by the Supreme Court’s Roe decision in 1973, which says abortion is legal until the fetus reaches viability, usually at 24 to 28 weeks.

The latest bans are not yet in effect (Kentucky’s was blocked by a judge), and all are expected to face lengthy court battles — indeed, their proponents are hoping they will reach the Supreme Court.

Donna grins as Kara agrees. “It’s better than where I was headed before I got recruited.” Donna says vaguely, quickly moving on without giving Kara time to ask about it. “It’s good work we’re doing, and that’s all I ask for.” Donna says with a smile, though her eyes are a bit darker after her earlier statement.

Kara gave her an odd look but didn’t question it. There will be a time and place for that. “It is good work. What else are they making you do?” Kara asked curiously, opening the locker room in the DEO and moving her way in towards the back to find the stacks of clean clothes.

Donna grins. “Mostly fieldwork and paperwork at the moment. They did recruit me to be a field agent after all.” She replies. Most of the field agents laughed in her face when she said she was going on the field with them. She certainly didn’t look like much. A 5′7″ fem blonde who had been recruited for a classified reason (not that they knew there was a specific reason for her recruitment). It had made her mad and she had released that anger by taking down a 6′2″ humanoid male alien without the use of powers. They didn’t laugh after that. She smirked at the thought.

Kara paused. “I was out in the field weeks after I started to show up on people’s radars.” Kara explained with a shrug.

Guess they had new orders since then.

“Yes let’s go.”

Kara added, finding a plastic bag for the clothes to go in. “Put it in here. That way you don’t have to touch it anymore than you have to.”

Donna laughs awkwardly, rubbing the back of her neck nervously. She knew the reason why. The DEO didn’t have extensive knowledge on her species. No Hyacinths had been on the DEO’s radar and knowledge other planets had about them was minimal as they were self-reliant.

“Yes please,” Donna says with a grin, laughing off the awkward energy she had held in the moment before.

“Oh, thanks!” Donna says, carefully putting the clothes in the bag.
