Open sick!levi starter
((Bc I believe aria-azure and xthepromisex both wanted a sick-Levi starter too, and so I’ve altered my first starter to be for anyone!))
It had started by simply shivering a bit the day before, after a hard training session. Perhaps Levi had pushed himself too hard, but at that moment he brushed it off as just being tired; he excused himself from dinner that night, not really having much of an appetite.
The next morning, however, when normally Levi would’ve been awake hours ago, he was nowhere to be seen. Nobody had seen him at breakfast, nor in the men’s showers–but it was when he didn’t show up to lead training the next day that a different squad leader told the closest person paying attention to go check on him.
To their knock, there was no reply from the door between the hallway and his sleeping quarters–the higher ups not having to share a room with their squad. When they entered his room, it was very dark, the curtains drawn and only a curled up lump under several blankets showing any signs of life. At least the lump was breathing; Levi was still sleeping.
Amaris sighed as she approached the sleeping Levi. She took some time to look over him, finding his sleeping face not to be the regular one of peace that she grew to hold dear. No, this one looked like suffering.
She sat on the edge of the bed and began to shake him gently. “Levi. Levi, you have to wake up. I know something’s wrong but you have to wake up.” Gently, she pressed her lips to his forehead as to try and stir him and to check his temperature. He was burning up. And Amaris felt bad for not noticing something was off the moment she saw he wasn’t up before her.
As he was shaken, Levi groaned softly, finally cracking his eyes open; the usually bright, grey irises were dulled by fever. “What do you want, I’m sleeping,” he grumbled, voice very hoarse.
His fever was burning him up under so many blankets, yet he still shivered occasionally, trying to get warm. He’d slept longer than he had in weeks, which was a definite sign that something was wrong just in itself.
"I know, sweetie. But you have to get up and eat something. Just a little bit. How bout I make you some soup and get you a nice cool towel for your head?" She gently brushed some loose strands of hair away from his face as she said this. She felt bad and would do anything to help him get or at least feel better.

it took me a solid minute to figure out what the hell they meant by die
The abstract concept of death is less dense than maple syrup but more dense than milk.
