âAlright...let's get you there, also could you keep this low? You can tell close friends about the problem but it is best that the entire school doesnât knowâ Trein stated
They both walk to the magic portal room and head towards Heartslabyul, Trein had already alerted Riddle that Grim will be staying over
Once they made it to the gate at Heartslabyul, Riddle was in his striped PJs waiting for them
âHello Mr. Trein and Grim, I just caught Ace trying to get a midnight snack, he will be facing punishment in the morning but I also explained to him that the Ramshackled students will be staying over...where is the prefect?â Riddle asked
Grim stayed quiet and Trein sighed, âThe perfect is over at the Ramshackled Dorm, only Grim will be at Heartslabyul for the moment until the situation is cleared...Iâm sure Crowley will explain the situation to you and the other dorm leaders tomorrow...that or Grim explains to you and some of their close Heartslabyul friends about what is happeningâ Trein stated
âAlright thenâ Riddle agreed
Grim quietly walks in without turning back, Riddle is a bit worried about how quiet he is and wonders how [MC] is
Riddle showed Grim to Aceâs room, when he opened the door Ace was carrying some blankets and pillows
âHeya Grim!...Whereâs [MC]?â Ace asked, Grim, did not say anything and just walked in and curled up in Ace's bed
Ace was going to shout something but Riddle put his hand on Aceâs shoulder, he looked back to his house warden who has just slightly shaking his head
His face showed worry, [MC] not being with Grim happens from time to time, but Grim would always knows where [MC] is (sometimes)
Riddle thinks back to what Trein stated, his stomach was twisting...did something happen to [MC]?
âYou both donât cause too much trouble and go to sleep, we will talk in the morningâ Riddle quietly said to Ace
Riddle was storming through the crowd of people with Cater and Trey following behind him, he had just finished the emergency meeting Crowley held...
He soon barged into Aceâs room, both Ace and Deuce were surrounding Grim who was still lying on Aceâd bed, he was awake but...wasnât himself
âRiddle! You got to tell us what is going on!â Pleaded Trey, he spotted Riddle walking fast with his worried expression and knew something was wrong
â...[MC] has caught the Phoenix Disease...â muttered Grim but loud enough for everyone in the room to hear
Everyoneâs heart dropped hearing those words, âNo. But how!?â Questioned Ace
â[MC] is from another universe...they probably do not have the same protection we have from diseases and other illnessesâ Explained Riddle
âBut we have the medicine now, they will be fine...right?â asked Deuce, his face was showed worry
âThey will make a full recovery, but from what Crowley said...it will take a week until they are fully healed-â
âA WEEK!?!â Ace and Deuce shouted, cutting off Riddle
âApparently they also need some other vaccines and they also have side effects, so it will take a weekâ Grim quietly answers, he sounds tired
âSo...who is taking care of [MC], I heard from history class that the person's body heat can affect those around them, are the government health care coming or...â
âNo, the ramshackled ghost are taking care of [MC]...and we need to take care of Grim until thenâ Riddle looks back at Grim who has already asleep, light bags under his eyes show that he probably didnât get much sleep despite being a heavy sleeper
âSince the ghost are taking care of [MC], weâll take care of Grim,â Stated Riddle as they all look at the sleeping cat
As housewarden, he still has jobs to do. He knows you will live in the end, so you will be fine...right? He researched the Phoenix Disease; his heart tightened the more he read. He doesnât want you to face so much pain. He tries to move on by burying himself in work. Also, he made treats with Trey for Grim, especially his favourites to try and make him feel better. He might not be the best at comfort, but he tries.
He trusts the ghost of the ramshackled dorm will help you out. Helps out with Riddle; he starts to overthink, Ace and Deuce donât feel the same without you, so he also has to help them get their spirits up. After the entire day, when he is in his room, he prays and wishes for your best recovery.
Cater was able to keep himself composed and in control, better than how the rest of the crew was doing. He would also cheer up Deuce and Ace, making them not stress out too much. And, of course, he had a great time with Grim. But his self-worry for your health always lingered, he wanted the days to be over with so your recovery could come quickly.
It was going up and down for Ace, he would begin arguing (or hanging out) with Grim and Deuce at one point, and then he would be worrying about you, but he would not even show it. Because he doesnât want to show that he cares THAT much about you....even though he does and he has trouble sleeping since Grim is always squirming in his sleep and he canât help but think if you really are in that much pain
This boy is slightly the same as Ace, but he is showing his worry for you. He is thinking of every single medical food that his mother and grandmother made for him. He wanted to tell the ghost of the Ramshackled dorm this but he was always reminded that you need time alone.Â
Riddle is the first person to get the news since Grim is with him, Ace and Deuce come along since they are always by your side, Trey and Cater also come along since Trey and Cater made some food for you
An after-effect that the people who survive the Phoenix Disease go through is hunger, Trey and Cater made some just before they arrived
When they all first came through the door, a wave of the smell of herbs hit them, both Deuce and Ace were to first to enter the house and they quite literally got knocked down from the intensity of the smell
They all expected you to be in bed, but instead, they found you on the couch, bathing in the sunlight
Riddle started to blabber about how you should still be in bed, but the sunlight was quite soothing
You all started chatting, mostly them asking if you were alright, when will you be back, and making sure you were okay
Riddle started to shout at Ace, Deuce, and Grim for eating the majority of the tarts that he had made for you
Cater took many photos; of the food, you, and the rest of the group
And Trey brought all of your favourite treats (You gave him the biggest hug, gotta love the food man)
In all honesty, there were happy to see you laughing without any pain
Needless to say, when you are 100% okay and are able to start school again, even Riddle is happy that things are back to their way again (except the part where Ace, Deuce, and Grim start trouble)
