How was the film? Was Oliver shirtless the whole film? Would love to hear your thoughts
Oh it was so incredible!! It was like maybe 10 or so minutes long? (maybe longer i can't remember) I've never really seen short films before but it's kind of incredible how they manage to fit a whole storyline in such a short amount a time. It's really such a talent.
Oliver was not shirtless the whole time haha he was mostly in that white tank. He was shirtless in like one short scene. I was so giddy at how loving his character was even though he was also this like conman criminal who literally had just threatened to shoot a man. He was so jealous that his partner (The Bride) had actually fallen in love with The Groom haha.
One of my favorite moments was when he was kind of being a little catty with The Bride and doing this little jealous routine in the bathroom and then an reminder alarm goes off and he immedietly gets serious and tells her "it's time for your shot". And you see him go over to this like medical cooler thing and he takes out a syringe and fills it for her and then give her her injection. I'm not completely sure what the medication was supposed to be but regardless I thought it was such a sweet moment of like oh wow this man really loves and cares for his partner.
Nava Mau who plays The Bride was also amazing!! She's the first character you're introduced to and so she really sets the scene of being this like runaway bride almost it's really great. And then her chemistry with Oliver is just off the charts. I was like giggly the whole time it was so so amazing to watch them act together!!
But yeah I loved it! It was a fun little experience going to the Film Festival too because I don't usually do these kinds of things even though I was like born and raised in the area haha so yeah just genuinely a great time all around! (and defs helped me forget about the austin con stuff that i was/am really bummed about)
OLIVER STARK BEING A SUPPORTIVE BOYFRIEND OF A TRANS WOMAN ON PRIDE MONTH I'LL DIE
Oliver in the long con. He was amazing!!!! So fun seeing him act with a British accent.
