Big fan of The Horrors who are doting or very protective parents.

🌿 The village sacrifices outcasts to an infamous woodland spirit to appease her, not knowing she takes those abandoned souls under her wings (maybe figurative, maybe literal). She brings them back to her secluded home, now a small commune, and maybe she even grants them a bit of forest magic of their own. She's ageless, so young children, adults, and the elderly alike are all her children in her eyes.

🐙 Cluster of eldritch tentacles and eyes carefully cradling the most fragile being they've seen in their eons (Greg from accounting, 35), purring(?) in contentment, or showing it off to their eldritch friends while they're all shaking in barely-restrained cuteness aggression.

🦇 The cruel vampire that doesn't blink at draining dry the town neighbouring their castle and terrorizing hundreds, but coddles their young fledglings and holds their hand through discovering their own vampirism. Bat-flight lessons very gently directed like learning to ride a bike without training wheels.

👻 The malevolent ghost attached to the stuffed toy of an oblivious baby/toddler/regressor who thinks the big floaty guy who throws furniture at their tormented friends and family is hilarious.

🤡 A terrifying monster with a grin of 3-dozen razor sharp teeth that wears a cardigan and cute circular glasses with a chain to the daycare drop-off line, or while bringing their new human pet/child/friend off at work, but isn't afraid to flash those teeth in a wide grin when they catch sight of the school bully or the office Karen. They revel in causing the nightmares that will haunt a wrong-doer into their 80's.

🐉 The dragon deciding a town or specific people are a part of his hoard. Violently protective of them, makes sure their town is safe, comfortable and maintained, but refuses to let them leave because the wide world is too dangerous. His favourite knight!? How could he ever let them go out there!? Do you know how many wizards are out there just waiting to turn them into a toad!?

The Creepypasta and FNAF fandoms have this on lock for agere stuff. I love love love when some ageless being or horror monster is like "aww! you're so cute! you're my baby and I'll eviscerate anything that dares touch a hair on your head :)"

I got my food handlers license today for something and I’m very proud of myself. My Daddy was so proud of me too!! It’s my second certification I got this week. :33 But today isn’t about me. It’s about my Dada. :(

I know Daddy has been down because he’s drowning in bills because of his ex best friend and past roommates moving out a year ago. He’s been left with everything for months and he’s having a bad mental health week. He had to step down from his manager position at work due to not being paid what he was promised after a year or so of working there.

He’s so depressed that he couldn’t smile for hours today until I made him all cozy and smol and soooo I THOUGHT I WOULD ASK FOR OTHER CGs, FLIPs AND LITTLES help or to please reblog this if you can’t help with a donation in the way you’d like, if you felt the need to do so.

I’m really worried this time. His credit has gotten bad. And he already can’t afford to get the therapist he wished he had and I’m worried about his leg disorders getting worse as well. He’s tried everything: sold things, worked extra hard almost every day and even took out loans. I’m worried he’s drowning inside and I just can’t let him lose his utilities and house while we have an extreme heat wave in the desert. Today it was 115 degrees F. :((

He has nowhere to go. He was disowned by his family by his abusive father for standing up to him. Please reblog or donate to this. I know it’s not about specifically only BUT HE NEEDS THIS.

I’m scared he’ll get suicidal. I’m scared he’ll be on the streets in over 115 F degrees. If he does he will die. We lost 2,000 people last year just from the heat.

I live in government housing so he can’t stay here or I’ll lose my housing.

I can’t get a credit card and neither can he( he owes credit cards). I know he cries because he doesn’t feel like a man and it really hurts. This is all I can do and I’m really depressed about it I’m crying. I don’t have any other options. I don’t know who can help because all my friends are poor like me. This sucks. I just am having bad thoughts now because of it. It hurts. So much. :(((

Sometimes when I'm having a really tough day at work and i dont get out until really late at night, I imagine I have a mama and a papa waiting out in the parking lot for me.

They have the heated seat on in the back, with my blankie and special tiger friend buckled in and waiting for me.

Papa will start to worry if I take too long, and mama will shove his shoulder teasingly and tell him she knows nothing bads gonna happen to her tough cookie. But she'll still breathe a small sigh of relief when I step out.

And when I open the door to the car I just sorta feel that tension that's been growing all day drip off my shoulders and I'm finally safe and warm with mama and papa.

Maybe mama will turn around and offer me a snack, and papa doesn't say anything except "hi kiddo..." in a really soft tone, because he knows I'm too tired to talk.

And I imagine that we all live together, and when we pull into our apartment complex, mama carries my lunchbox for me and papa grabs my hand and pulls me along up the stairs.

They don't ask to watch a show or if I've eaten dinner, they just take me to the bathroom to brush my teeth and get my pjs on, and then next thing I know I'm snuggled under a toasty comforter with my tiger in my arms and there's fading whispers out the door of "Goodnight baby..." "Goodnight...."

And I think maybe it'll all be okay.
