Hi Saqu! Just a question about episode 11

(I’m gonna try to word this the best I can) does the bond basically prevent compulsions since Love is connected with Xanthus , and since vampires can’t be compelled, it makes Audric’s compulsion not work? (Idk if this makes sense or not, sorry)

Vampires can be compelled by other vampires who are stronger. If Xanthus was compelled by a stronger vampire that wasn't Audric, it would work.

The reason why compulsion didn't work on Love was because it was Audric who tried to do it.

Audric turned Xanthus with his blood -> Xanthus has Audric's blood in his own and gave his blood to Love's ancestor -> The bond between Xanthus and Love is formed through that blood -> Love has Audric's blood and can't be compelled by either Xanthus or Audric.
