OMG OMG OKAY I HAVE AN IDEA THING!

So like I’m so deep in denial abt the ending of the hobbit, imagine this:

What if The Hobbit is just a D&D game and the company are just modern (young?) adults doing a campaign which is the Quest of Erebor which is basically what happens in the films.

I may do a fic of this, like it cuts between the campaign and their real life’s and stuff. Although I still have the fix-it fic to do so yeah. But if people want me to do this I’ll do it :)

It’s been nearly, what? 2 years since I posted this? Anyways, I feel the need to give an update for it-

So, me and @hobbityalse did figure out the plot and stuff when I first had the idea, but with having been still like, in education, only wrote one chapter abd haven’t touched it for like, a year.

I’ve officially finished college now and have three months off, so I’m gonna try get more of this done and begin posting? Maybe? I’m not sure, but I’m definitely gonna start writing again- so sorry it’s been like no updates on this as I was actually so excited to get this out 😅😓

So, you guys know these:

If you don’t, then you basically click the red button and the toys play a Christmas song (you can get any type of these but I’m using mine as an example).

ANYWAYS- so, I can see Wade having either one or a bunch of them in the apartment and he plays them all every five minutes for fun. Different songs going off all at once, and I can see Logan absolutely fucking hating it. After the like, second or third time of Wade doing it?

Claws gone through Wade’s head and other places (not in that way), but that doesn’t stop Wade. He may take a break for half hour or couple hours, but he does it to annoy Logan and Anthea (she’s definitely used to it by now- Wade playing the songs but also now Logan stabbing Wade each time he does it). It’s a yearly tradition for Wade and he isn’t gonna stop :)

The voices spoke and the voices told me this like idk what else to say 🤷🏼

I feel like during Covid lockdown, Will and Hannibal would be bored af. So, for “fun” (fun for them anyways), they would set little traps and stuff around the house, ranging from near harmless to extremely dangerous (like including knives etc.) And they’d always try top the other.

I can see Will starting it. Like a small, harmless prank maybe where it’s the water bucket over the door or other, and to get even, Hannibal gets him back. Then they just developed to a kinda competition of who could do better than the other.

I can see someone possibly needing stitches at some point. But I thought this was a funny thought.

AU where bilbo doesn't go to erebor with the company on that day where they all first met

half a year goes by where bilbo sometimes wonder what happened to those dwarves that raided his pantry. did they succeed in their crazy quest? were they safe? was gandalf safe?

gandalf was alive, but had been banished by thorin himself after he'd fallen to dragon sickness. now, gandalf needs bilbo to steal the arkenstone from thorin in order to give it to either dáin or fíli so he can become king instead, as thorin is clearly unfit to rule.

now what would happen next is the question......
