should be illegal in places where heat is a concern at all for a home or workplace or school or anywhere people spend a substantial amount of time on a daily basis to not have functional and safe heating and AC
like where i live there’s laws about how cold a building can be before the landlord or whoever is required to have heating but there’s no similar laws for heat and there absolutely should be. severe heat and severe cold both kill people and ac and heating shouldn’t be treated like luxuries they should be considered basic necessities
