なんとなく頭のなかに、ポスターにして貼っておく。 　キャンペーンのコピーなど考えるときにも、 　そうやっていました。 　思いついた仮のキャッチフレーズを、 　頭のなかのご町内の掲示板に貼りだしておくんですね。 　そうすると、そのポスターの前を、 　気づきもしないで通り過ぎる人とか、 　興味深そうに立ち止まってくれる人だとか、 　批判的にその欠点を言い募る人だとかが現れてくれます。 　まぁ、つまりは、すべてじぶんの分身なんですけどね。 　とにかく、この頭のなかのご町内という考え方とか、 　そこにポスターで掲示しておくとかいうやり方は、 　ぼくなりの、思考の経験化というようなもので、 　なかなかいいんですよ。 　 　いつも、「その考え」を意識して過ごしている。 　そして、それを吟味したり、拡大したり展開したり、 　いわば、転がして遊んでいるという方法です。 　これ、恋愛中の人がお相手のだれかさんを思う気持ちや、 　宗教者がじぶんたちの神さまを意識していることと、 　ちょっと似ているのかもしれません。 　ただ、「好きすぎない」ようにすることも、 　意識のなかに含んでいるというのがちがっているかな。 　 　先日も言ったのですが、 　「通気性」というのが、ここ数年のポスターでした。 　つい最近、「通気性」のとなりに、 　「多孔質」というポスターが新たに貼られました。 　ぼくは、いつも「通気性」と「多孔質」という文字を、 　ぱたぱた翻る旗のように見上げて暮らしているのです。 　 　この頭のなかのご町内に、 　また、新しく貼りだしたポスターがあります。 　「地図と物語」という五文字。 　この視点でいろんなものごとを見なおしてみたいと、 　そんなことを考えています。 　どういうことか、かんたんな説明はやめておきます。 　「地図と物語」このことばのレンズで、 　いろんなものごとを見ることを、繰りかえしていきます。 今日も、「ほぼ日」に来てくれてありがとうございます。 それは地図のどこに、それはどんな物語のなかにあるのか。

Last Friday I had a luck to catch a Tokyo premiere of a documentary film called “A Film About Coffee” by Brandon Loper. This film beautifully showcases all the layers of current Specialty Coffee scene. Same as a perfect cup of coffee has its beautifully complex layers of flavors and aromas. As the film goes, one key word came up to me. That was "Connecting". The film seemed like it connects all the dots in coffee such as coffee producers, coffee consumers, baristas, roasters, importers, mechanics and everybody who's in this business. And I believe that coffee does the same thing secretly and silently every day. Epic are all the storytellers in this film. Every single words that come out from their mouths and hearts are like precious gems.
