tips for handling feelings of anger ~
🍓 get out of the moment! recite a song in your head, think about a happy memory, watch a show, try and ease your mind. 🌱 u might feel like acting violent. it’s okay if it happens sometimes, as long as u don’t take it out on anybody, including yourself! instead, punch something soft like a pillow, or even scream into it! 🧺 cry! crying helps to balance out the chemicals in ur body, some of which are released when you’re feeling angry. it’s not embarrassing or weak, it’s good for you :))
🌸 if ur mad at a certain person, avoid confronting them while your thoughts are all jumbled up. type or write out what you’re feeling instead! u can even “send” it to a backup account if it helps u feel more relieved. 🌷focus on something artistic: maybe a poem, song, dance, drawing, anything! let your emotions guide your creativity, sometimes the result may surprise u :o ☁️ cry, shout, do what u need to, exercise if u like! taking a nice walk may also help, nature is so beautiful! put all that energy into smth beneficial for ur body. afterwards, you’ll feel tired and hopefully more calm! perfect for a nap :3
