Bring the #G back in the #G&LB

So it seems the publisher of the GLB has decided that they will not have Mana appear again in the GLBs from now on.

Mana has posted on his blog telling us he received a mail from them, telling him even though they continuously asked for him to appear in the volumes since 1999 (*ahemandalsohekindagavethemtheideaahem*) but that they wouldn’t have him in anymore.

How. Fucking. Unfair.

Me, as well as a bunch of other people bought this magazine just for him (lol, yes, a little extreme, but eh). I am extremely upset that the only two large pages to be only presenting EGL/EGA fashion by one “model” are gone. Now, here we come to replace them with pink, Misako Aoki fandoming photoshoots and “lolita” exclusive pages. Where is the gothic anymore. We still exist. We still like models and brands. We want them to appear in the GOTHIC AND Lolita Bible.

I’m mad. I think it’s extremely sad that they would just kick him out like that, as he has been in there (and one of the first setters in the fashion in it’s popularity explosion) for 16 years, and they would just let him out.

I want an explanation. Do they think he’s irrelevant anymore ? Is having in on there for 2 pages (from an easy 5-4 pages back in the day) too expensive, is he asking too much ? I want to know. They might have a reason.

But now I don’t know the reason, and I’m mad.

I was buying the GLB sometimes for my favorite photoshoots of Mana, and only for this as none of the rest interests me (but still gave me 100% of the money the magazine is sold for), but I won’t anymore. See ya, GLB.
