Hey! This is my Secret Santa contribution for @eromarimo who wanted some Sanami fluff!

Firstly, I'm so sorry for the late contribution, I've had a lot of stuff going on and my time management is terrible.

My former intention was just to draw those two lovebirds in christmas socks with Sanji being totally lovestruck and Nami just sipping her hot cocoa not giving a damn on what's going on, but during the process I just couldn't resist drawing some intruders/thieves - Luffy being the double thief trying to steal cookies even from Chopper :D And Robin, of course, trying to give a little push to our favourite couple.

I really hope you like it (and anyone who enjoys SaNami as much as we do)

Hello. I can't believe I've actually made SOMETHING ON TIME! Anyways, here is my SaNami discord channel Secret Santa gift for 'Hikaru' (if you find this, DM me, because I've got no idea whether you're on Tumblr), who wanted SaNami as Westley and Buttercup from Princess Bride. I'm so sorry, I've never seen the film, so I had no idea what's going on, but when I saw this picture of Westley protecting Buttercup, I knew I just had to redraw it. Sanji is so overprotective of Nami, so it instantly gave me SaNami vibes (plus I just loved how fearless and manly Westley was in the picture). I had a lot of fun drawing it, hopefully, you'll like it Happy early Christmas <3 PS: Yes, I know, I'm lazy af…I tried to do my own background, but as soon as I started, I changed my mind, sorry about that

These two just need more love ❤️ Imagine Sanji working late at the kitchen and Nami coming often just to make him company. He wouldn't really let her work, but he is always pleased when she appears and after he finishes, they just sit together at the table in the dining room and talk for long hours 🥰

I heard a Youtuber talking about Sanji and one thing especially stood out to me:

"Where Zoro and Luffy's stories have both had the goal of becoming stronger and to be the greatest, Sanji's story has been about his struggle to remain the same."

And, my gosh, that's so true. I think this is why some people in the fandom dislike him so much. People keep expecting him to seek more power, for him to focus on being strong and fighting but that has NEVER been Sanji's goal. Not ever.

This boy wants to be a chef and find a legendary sea full of fish...and to hold true to his ideals of chivalry and being repectful and deserving of respect in return.

He destroys the Germa Suit, a fantastic source of power and his perverted dream of invisibility, because it conflicts with who he truly wants to be.

And, I'm sorry, but that is WAY more interesting to me than being yet another shonen character who only wants to be strong.
