It was a busy day in the faerie kingdom, ever so much. Faeries bustled around, moving from shop to shop, taking care of their business… from owners putting out new goods, to shoppers picking up items, some just chatting with their friends.
It was a lovely day for a stroll! He had finished all of duties for the day, greeting the cookies that came up to him enthusiastically. But… a new cookie stood out to him, one that didn’t quite look like another faerie. Or, at least, he didn’t think he’d ever seen him, but he doesn’t always have the best memory, walking over excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him.
“Hello! Welcome to the faerie kingdom!”

*Ad-lib looks over* hmm? *Ad-libs heart does a thing that he has no idea what it means I mean...he isn't used to seeing a cookie so.... beautiful before*...oh? Why thank you I'm ag-lib you are?
“I’m Viridescent Daydream— Though… You can just call me Viri,” He smiles softly at the stranger— No. Ad-lib. His wings flutter again before he calms down.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you! Have you ever been to the faerie kingdom, or is this your first time?”
this is my first time here *ad-lib watches the bug(hehe) having already decided in the back of his mind that he WILL make viri his and only his so no other cookies can have him*...so what do you normally do here
“Well me personally or just in general in the kingdom?” He pauses to greet a cookie, his wings fluttering behind him as he continued walking, “In general… hmhm… Theres shopping… you can always stop by a friend, have a chat, go to places where theres games. We have festivals every once ‘n awhile… I think— I’m not the best one to ask for general things, hehe!”
“Personally, I am the king of this land… my days are often spent tending to royal business… heheh… I guess I managed to time my walk quite well, else probably wouldn’t have seen you!”
*ad-lib nods a few times before asking* you said your a king correct? Do you have a queen? *Ad-lib watches viri the only thing he is thinking is that he will crumble the queen...if there is one of course but for now he walks beside viri awaiting his answer*
“A… queen… Hmn…” He tilts his head, thinking, before smiling softly, “No, it’s only me tending to the faeries. I have no one else. Why do you ask?” He turns and looks at him.
*ad-lib relaxes a whole lot* was just curious *he smiles* so what do you *he gestures to viri* do for fun when you're not busy with your royal duties
“Walks, for the most part! Wander through the flower gardens, talk with the other faeries… Oh!! Read books, and I love watching a play or two!” He realizes he probably shouldn’t get so excited, covering his smile, wings being tucked back in, “Its not often I have time off from my royal duties though, unfortunately. The kingdom stays ever busy, and I must too.”
*ad-lib nods* mmm that does make sense something easy for a overworked king though you could use some help with...all that work I don't suppose you are willing too hm I don't know have me help*ad-lib watches viri*
He tilts his head, before tensing, raising his hands, “I couldn’t possibly burden you with this. You’re just visiting! Enjoy your time here. Besides, a royal is really the only one supposed to do that sort of work.”
He waves his hand, wings pressing flat to his back, “Please, don’t worry about me, dear!”
*his heart almost gives out from being called "dear" ⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄-⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄* I'm never busy besides a...script writer wants me dead *he shrugs* besides even if I was busy I would drop everything to help so what do you say my angel
“Wh-what,” His wings tense, spreading and staring at Ad-lib for a moment before his wings tucked back in, “A script writer wants you dead—?? And you want to help me??” He blinks a couple times before shaking his head, “I cannot in good faith put you, a visitor, to work on tasks that are my own. But I can offer you protection from said… script writer wanting you dead…”
*ad-lib thinks for a few minutes and smiles wide* will it mean I get to stay with you?
He blinks a couple times, a little confused but he nods, “If you accept, I’ll put you in the castle, where I stay… So I suppose, in a way, yes?”
*he mentally cheers at himself but he nods trying not to look toooooo happy with that but somewhat fails and bounces on his toes ever so slightly* okay I shall accept
Hmn… Cute! Does he have a crush or something? No, no! Non-faerie cookies must just get excited about that sort of thing! It’s cute he’s trying to hide it though.
“Alright,” He nods, letting his wings fall against his cape and starting to walk again, “The castle is over that way, if you’d like to go see it and settle in. Ah—“ He pauses, turning, taking Ad-Libs hand and casting some magic on it, a small mark appearing on the back of his hand, “Show that to the guards and you should be able to get inside.”
*Ad-libs face is now completely blue he is blushing so hard he HAS to look away he wants to giggle and almost does a little sound slipping out before he covers his mouth with his other hand all he is thinking is "OH MY WITCHES OH MY WITCHES OH MY WITCHES"*

His face is bluer than before. Do non-faerie cookies get easily embarrassed by touch? Ack!! Perhaps he should’ve asked before grabbing him, letting go of his hand and taking a step back, turning on his heels and continuing to walk.
Ohhh, its time to overthink that interaction, sinking into the flowers around his neck, hrhebgbrghbt. Crap.
*he follows but not as close as before making soft happy sounds and every now and then a soft giggle escape him as he thinks to himself "why is this faerie making me feel so...UUUGGGHHH"*
He tilts his head to look back— He’s still following? Aand… blushing too…? He expected him to go straight to the castle… is he trusting Viri to keep him safe from that script writer..?? Well… thats some pressure.
He slows, looking at one of the food stalls, wandering over and trading for two skewers, handing one to him and continuing to walk.
*he..is not to say.. trying to stay calm but failing SOOOO DAMN HARD as he carefully takes the skewer mumbling something about how cute viri is before making more cute flustered sound*
“..Are you alright?” He questioned, finally giving in, a worried expression on his face as his wings press in close, “did I make you uncomfortable with my mark? I apologize, I just wanted to make sure you could get in and out easily— I apologize if that made you uncomfortable.”
I... I'm okay...it was just unexpected to say the least *he takes a deep breath unsure what else to say he is still very flustered like unbelievably so*
“Oh…” He hesitates before giving a sheepish smile, “Apologies. I’ll be sure to warn you next time,” He hums… It’d probably around time to wrap up this walk, he munches on the skewer, changing his path to head for the castle, watching Ad-lib from the corner of his eye.
*ad-lib consumes his own skewer and follows viri once more muttering to himself* stupid cute faerie making me feel...all flustered *he makes soft grumbling sounds*
They reach the gates, he chats with the guards for a little bit, his wings fluttering as he explains the situation,,, then Ad-Lib is allowed in.
The halls are covered in flora; flowers, vines, plants, etc. Faeries flitting around, giggling to themselves, tending to plants. He waves at them… then a little while more and he opens a door.
“You can stay here for now. If you need anything, the other faeries can assist, and if they can’t, my room is the last one in the hall on the other side.” He smiles at Ad-lib, his wings fluttering before calming down again, “And please, if the faeries try to pull a trick on you, tell me… they do that sometimes…”
*ad-lib nods a few times not wanting him to leave but knows he has to so doesn't say anything*
He hesitates, then gives a small nod before turning and walking down the hall, entering his own room, closing the door quietly behind him.
*Ad-lib looks around the room then get a idea leaves his room and goes into viri's room and closes the door behind silently behind him*
He’s focused on paperwork, hunched over his desk, focused, his wings completely still… completely unaware…
Of the three faeries, being ever so quiet and sneaky, dropping something… a potion of some kind that swirls pink and gold, into the kings cup behind his back. The three of them have stopped though, eyes wide and staring at Ad-Lib— then the king. Then ad-lib before one puts his hand up to his mouth, like he’s… shushing ad-lib.
*Ad-lib raises a eyebrow but stays over all silent wondering what they are doing*
They put a few more drops into his drink, the overworked kings wings starting to rapidly flutter in frustration, covering their quiet giggles, and then they zoom out— The one stopping to grab Ad-Libs hand and yank him out of the room with them.
“Don’t tell the king what we did!” Now that he’s closer, its pretty clear these are children,,, trying to prank the king,,, hmst,,, “Pleaaasee!!! Please please!!!!!!!”
*he looks at the little doughs thinks for a little sighs looks back at the door then the children again*
What did you give him
“A love potion!!” “It’s harmless!! I promise!! We’d never AAACTUALLY hurt the king!!”
They flutter their wings excitedly, giggling, “I wonder who he’ll fall for!!” “Maybe the moonflower faerie??”
And before anymore can be said, they all flutter away— or well, run away, wings not quite enough to be functional yet.
*he freezes...a love potion? Really -_- ad-lib looks back at the door eyes wide wait if I'm in there when he drinks it...yes that would work ad-lib silently slips back in the room*
He’s in the middle of sipping his drink, finishing and putting the glass back down… He’s sure that tasted weird… he shakes it off, running his hand through his hair, staring at the paperwork… he feels… a little odd, shaking out his wings like that’d help. Maybe he’s just tired…
*ad-lib gently walks up behind viri and hugs him from from behind obviously then rests his head on his shoulder looking down at viri's work* what are you doing my angel
Hhuh?— He turns his head—
And witches. Hhh? Hhhrhgh???
His face immediately flushes. His heart feels like its hammering… aand he squeaks, wings trying to fling out and only hitting softly against Ad-Libs chest.

Was he always so pretty? Mismatched eyes, the beautiful scar… the fluffy hair— WITCHES!!!! He turns away, quickly fumbling out of Ad-Libs hold with very flushed cheeks.
“I’m- I— Uh!! Paperwork!”
my angel is something wrong *ad-lib cutely titles his head to the side and does puppy eyes KNOWING those work on most cookies* angel?
Oh— Oh—Witches.
His heart feels like it might genuinely pop, staring at him like a deer in the headlights, opening and closing his mouth… the only thing escaping? A squeak.
He turns towards his paper work. Almost immediately wanting to look back, wings softly fluttering on his back as he stares at the paperwork, trying to calm down his racing heart.
“I’m… fine. Yes. Sorry. I-i just… you caught me unexpected.”
*ad-lib watches viri then smiles* oh I'm sorry my angel if you want me to leave I can *he sighs softly before turning to the door and starting to walk towards it*
His wings press to his back— He looked so sad about it— Hhhrhrhhr…
He reaches out, moving quickly and grabbing his wrist, “No, nono. You’re fine— It’s fine! Stay, stay here my king—“ King? “I… theres nothing wrong with being caught unexpectedly.”
*ad-lib turns back around and looks at viri with they the same puppy eyes that makes him look like a kicked puppy*

“Don’t look so distressed…” He murmurs, pulling Ad-lib closer, “It’s fine. I don’t mind the company, my dear! I just hope I am not… too boring.”
*without hesitation this mence sits in viri's lap facing him smiling with a slight blush on his face*

His face flushes instantly. No. No Viri, stay calm…!! He blinks at Ad a couple times before smiling sheepishly. Aaaaa
And then he wrapped his arms around Ad-libs waist, placing his chin on his shoulder. He smells like old paper, flowers, magic… his wings flutter happily before he controls himself and continues writing.
*ad-lib starts to purr softly and smiles*
ssooo what are you writing my angel *ad-lib gently plays with viri's hair purring slightly louder*
His wings flutter again before he can stop himself, reaching back to keep them against his back… and once he calmed down, he let go.
“I… Am working on trades… mostly signature things needed… a little refinement.”
*Ad-lib notices this and laughs softly* aawwww your wings show what you really feel my angel
*he laughs again before nodding approvingly at what viri is working on and smiles*
“‘Mmhhhnn… Unfortunately so…” He mumbles. Is he feeling shy? Nervous? Both, probably. His wings flutter again. He tries to stop them but fails. How embarrassing!
aww how cute *ad-lib reaches out to touch his wings gently his fingers gently gliding over his wings*
“Hh—!”
His wings flutter, moving away as he blushes, looking over at Ad Lib and covering his face, “Please, be gentle when you touch them. They are… very delicate.”
*ad-lib laughs softly* don't run my angel there is no need to *ad-lib pats viri's head gently before carefully getting up and throws himself in viri's bed* mmmmm comfy
Well… he was sure making himself comfortable fast. He stared at Ad lib on his bed— okay chill out freaknilla. Then turns back to his paperwork. His heart does a little twist in his chest, hhrhhrrhhhh.
“Make yourself comfortable,” He hums, continuing to work on his paperwork, wings pressed tightly to his back. Ohhhh only if he could lay down with him… but work waits for none.
*ad-lib takes off his cape and puts it to the side making himself more comfortable and glancing at viri a few times with a slight frown then this menace of a cookie scratches like a cat*
He turns to look at the noise, tensing up at the sight of him scratching his bed… He’ll have to get new sheets. He bites back a sigh, his wings are sadly pressed to his back… but at least Ad lib looks a little pleased…

He finishes up this paperwork, moving quickly through it and grabbimg Ad libs hands to stop him from scratching, flopping over his bed with a soft sigh.
*ad-lib looks up at viri with big wide eyes if his man had a tail 😔 it would be wagging so fast*

Well… he was sure making himself comfortable fast. He stared at Ad lib on his bed— okay chill out freaknilla. Then turns back to his paperwork. His heart does a little twist in his chest, hhrhhrrhhhh.
“Make yourself comfortable,” He hums, continuing to work on his paperwork, wings pressed tightly to his back. Ohhhh only if he could lay down with him… but work waits for none.

It was a busy day in the faerie kingdom, ever so much. Faeries bustled around, moving from shop to shop, taking care of their business… from owners putting out new goods, to shoppers picking up items, some just chatting with their friends.
It was a lovely day for a stroll! He had finished all of duties for the day, greeting the cookies that came up to him enthusiastically. But… a new cookie stood out to him, one that didn’t quite look like another faerie. Or, at least, he didn’t think he’d ever seen him, but he doesn’t always have the best memory, walking over excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him.

“Personally, I am the king of this land… my days are often spent tending to royal business… heheh… I guess I managed to time my walk quite well, else probably wouldn’t have seen you!”

They reach the gates, he chats with the guards for a little bit, his wings fluttering as he explains the situation,,, then Ad-Lib is allowed in.
The halls are covered in flora; flowers, vines, plants, etc. Faeries flitting around, giggling to themselves, tending to plants. He waves at them… then a little while more and he opens a door.
“You can stay here for now. If you need anything, the other faeries can assist, and if they can’t, my room is the last one in the hall on the other side.” He smiles at Ad-lib, his wings fluttering before calming down again, “And please, if the faeries try to pull a trick on you, tell me… they do that sometimes…”

He hesitates, then gives a small nod before turning and walking down the hall, entering his own room, closing the door quietly behind him.

Of the three faeries, being ever so quiet and sneaky, dropping something… a potion of some kind that swirls pink and gold, into the kings cup behind his back. The three of them have stopped though, eyes wide and staring at Ad-Lib— then the king. Then ad-lib before one puts his hand up to his mouth, like he’s… shushing ad-lib.
*Ad-lib raises a eyebrow but stays over all silent wondering what they are doing*
They put a few more drops into his drink, the overworked kings wings starting to rapidly flutter in frustration, covering their quiet giggles, and then they zoom out— The one stopping to grab Ad-Libs hand and yank him out of the room with them.
“Don’t tell the king what we did!” Now that he’s closer, its pretty clear these are children,,, trying to prank the king,,, hmst,,, “Pleaaasee!!! Please please!!!!!!!”

It was a busy day in the faerie kingdom, ever so much. Faeries bustled around, moving from shop to shop, taking care of their business… from owners putting out new goods, to shoppers picking up items, some just chatting with their friends.
It was a lovely day for a stroll! He had finished all of duties for the day, greeting the cookies that came up to him enthusiastically. But… a new cookie stood out to him, one that didn’t quite look like another faerie. Or, at least, he didn’t think he’d ever seen him, but he doesn’t always have the best memory, walking over excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him.

“Well me personally or just in general in the kingdom?” He pauses to greet a cookie, his wings fluttering behind him as he continued walking, “In general… hmhm… Theres shopping… you can always stop by a friend, have a chat, go to places where theres games. We have festivals every once ‘n awhile… I think— I’m not the best one to ask for general things, hehe!”
“Personally, I am the king of this land… my days are often spent tending to royal business… heheh… I guess I managed to time my walk quite well, else probably wouldn’t have seen you!”

“Walks, for the most part! Wander through the flower gardens, talk with the other faeries… Oh!! Read books, and I love watching a play or two!” He realizes he probably shouldn’t get so excited, covering his smile, wings being tucked back in, “Its not often I have time off from my royal duties though, unfortunately. The kingdom stays ever busy, and I must too.”

He slows, looking at one of the food stalls, wandering over and trading for two skewers, handing one to him and continuing to walk.

“..Are you alright?” He questioned, finally giving in, a worried expression on his face as his wings press in close, “did I make you uncomfortable with my mark? I apologize, I just wanted to make sure you could get in and out easily— I apologize if that made you uncomfortable.”
I... I'm okay...it was just unexpected to say the least *he takes a deep breath unsure what else to say he is still very flustered like unbelievably so*
“Oh…” He hesitates before giving a sheepish smile, “Apologies. I’ll be sure to warn you next time,” He hums… It’d probably around time to wrap up this walk, he munches on the skewer, changing his path to head for the castle, watching Ad-lib from the corner of his eye.
*ad-lib consumes his own skewer and follows viri once more muttering to himself* stupid cute faerie making me feel...all flustered *he makes soft grumbling sounds*
They reach the gates, he chats with the guards for a little bit, his wings fluttering as he explains the situation,,, then Ad-Lib is allowed in.
The halls are covered in flora; flowers, vines, plants, etc. Faeries flitting around, giggling to themselves, tending to plants. He waves at them… then a little while more and he opens a door.
“You can stay here for now. If you need anything, the other faeries can assist, and if they can’t, my room is the last one in the hall on the other side.” He smiles at Ad-lib, his wings fluttering before calming down again, “And please, if the faeries try to pull a trick on you, tell me… they do that sometimes…”
*ad-lib nods a few times not wanting him to leave but knows he has to so doesn't say anything*
He hesitates, then gives a small nod before turning and walking down the hall, entering his own room, closing the door quietly behind him.

Of the three faeries, being ever so quiet and sneaky, dropping something… a potion of some kind that swirls pink and gold, into the kings cup behind his back. The three of them have stopped though, eyes wide and staring at Ad-Lib— then the king. Then ad-lib before one puts his hand up to his mouth, like he’s… shushing ad-lib.
*Ad-lib raises a eyebrow but stays over all silent wondering what they are doing*
They put a few more drops into his drink, the overworked kings wings starting to rapidly flutter in frustration, covering their quiet giggles, and then they zoom out— The one stopping to grab Ad-Libs hand and yank him out of the room with them.
“Don’t tell the king what we did!” Now that he’s closer, its pretty clear these are children,,, trying to prank the king,,, hmst,,, “Pleaaasee!!! Please please!!!!!!!”
*he looks at the little doughs thinks for a little sighs looks back at the door then the children again*

“A love potion!!” “It’s harmless!! I promise!! We’d never AAACTUALLY hurt the king!!”
They flutter their wings excitedly, giggling, “I wonder who he’ll fall for!!” “Maybe the moonflower faerie??”

It was a busy day in the faerie kingdom, ever so much. Faeries bustled around, moving from shop to shop, taking care of their business… from owners putting out new goods, to shoppers picking up items, some just chatting with their friends.
It was a lovely day for a stroll! He had finished all of duties for the day, greeting the cookies that came up to him enthusiastically. But… a new cookie stood out to him, one that didn’t quite look like another faerie. Or, at least, he didn’t think he’d ever seen him, but he doesn’t always have the best memory, walking over excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him.

“Well me personally or just in general in the kingdom?” He pauses to greet a cookie, his wings fluttering behind him as he continued walking, “In general… hmhm… Theres shopping… you can always stop by a friend, have a chat, go to places where theres games. We have festivals every once ‘n awhile… I think— I’m not the best one to ask for general things, hehe!”
“Personally, I am the king of this land… my days are often spent tending to royal business… heheh… I guess I managed to time my walk quite well, else probably wouldn’t have seen you!”

The kingdom stays ever busy, and I must too.”

“You can stay here for now. If you need anything, the other faeries can assist, and if they can’t, my room is the last one in the hall on the other side.” He smiles at Ad-lib, his wings fluttering before calming down again, “And please, if the faeries try to pull a trick on you, tell me… they do that sometimes…”

“You can stay here for now. If you need anything, the other faeries can assist, and if they can’t, my room is the last one in the hall on the other side.” He smiles at Ad-lib, his wings fluttering before calming down again, “And please, if the faeries try to pull a trick on you, tell me… they do that sometimes…”

It was a busy day in the faerie kingdom, ever so much. Faeries bustled around, moving from shop to shop, taking care of their business… from owners putting out new goods, to shoppers picking up items, some just chatting with their friends.
It was a lovely day for a stroll! He had finished all of duties for the day, greeting the cookies that came up to him enthusiastically. But… a new cookie stood out to him, one that didn’t quite look like another faerie. Or, at least, he didn’t think he’d ever seen him, but he doesn’t always have the best memory, walking over excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him.

It was a lovely day for a stroll! He had finished all of duties for the day, greeting the cookies that came up to him enthusiastically. But… a new cookie stood out to him, one that didn’t quite look like another faerie. Or, at least, he didn’t think he’d ever seen him, but he doesn’t always have the best memory, walking over excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him.

“Personally, I am the king of this land… my days are often spent tending to royal business… heheh… I guess I managed to time my walk quite well, else probably wouldn’t have seen you!”

He tilts his head to look back— He’s still following? Aand… blushing too…? He expected him to go straight to the castle… is he trusting Viri to keep him safe from that script writer..?? Well… thats some pressure.
He slows, looking at one of the food stalls, wandering over and trading for two skewers, handing one to him and continuing to walk.
*he..is not to say.. trying to stay calm but failing SOOOO DAMN HARD as he carefully takes the skewer mumbling something about how cute viri is before making more cute flustered sound*
“..Are you alright?” He questioned, finally giving in, a worried expression on his face as his wings press in close, “did I make you uncomfortable with my mark? I apologize, I just wanted to make sure you could get in and out easily— I apologize if that made you uncomfortable.”
I... I'm okay...it was just unexpected to say the least *he takes a deep breath unsure what else to say he is still very flustered like unbelievably so*
“Oh…” He hesitates before giving a sheepish smile, “Apologies. I’ll be sure to warn you next time,” He hums… It’d probably around time to wrap up this walk, he munches on the skewer, changing his path to head for the castle, watching Ad-lib from the corner of his eye.
*ad-lib consumes his own skewer and follows viri once more muttering to himself* stupid cute faerie making me feel...all flustered *he makes soft grumbling sounds*
They reach the gates, he chats with the guards for a little bit, his wings fluttering as he explains the situation,,, then Ad-Lib is allowed in.
The halls are covered in flora; flowers, vines, plants, etc. Faeries flitting around, giggling to themselves, tending to plants. He waves at them… then a little while more and he opens a door.
“You can stay here for now. If you need anything, the other faeries can assist, and if they can’t, my room is the last one in the hall on the other side.” He smiles at Ad-lib, his wings fluttering before calming down again, “And please, if the faeries try to pull a trick on you, tell me… they do that sometimes…”
*ad-lib nods a few times not wanting him to leave but knows he has to so doesn't say anything*
He hesitates, then gives a small nod before turning and walking down the hall, entering his own room, closing the door quietly behind him.
*Ad-lib looks around the room then get a idea leaves his room and goes into viri's room and closes the door behind silently behind him*
He’s focused on paperwork, hunched over his desk, focused, his wings completely still… completely unaware…
Of the three faeries, being ever so quiet and sneaky, dropping something… a potion of some kind that swirls pink and gold, into the kings cup behind his back. The three of them have stopped though, eyes wide and staring at Ad-Lib— then the king. Then ad-lib before one puts his hand up to his mouth, like he’s… shushing ad-lib.
*Ad-lib raises a eyebrow but stays over all silent wondering what they are doing*
They put a few more drops into his drink, the overworked kings wings starting to rapidly flutter in frustration, covering their quiet giggles, and then they zoom out— The one stopping to grab Ad-Libs hand and yank him out of the room with them.
“Don’t tell the king what we did!” Now that he’s closer, its pretty clear these are children,,, trying to prank the king,,, hmst,,, “Pleaaasee!!! Please please!!!!!!!”
*he looks at the little doughs thinks for a little sighs looks back at the door then the children again*

It was a busy day in the faerie kingdom, ever so much. Faeries bustled around, moving from shop to shop, taking care of their business… from owners putting out new goods, to shoppers picking up items, some just chatting with their friends.
It was a lovely day for a stroll! He had finished all of duties for the day, greeting the cookies that came up to him enthusiastically. But… a new cookie stood out to him, one that didn’t quite look like another faerie. Or, at least, he didn’t think he’d ever seen him, but he doesn’t always have the best memory, walking over excitedly, his wings fluttering behind him.
“Hello! Welcome to the faerie kingdom!”

*Ad-lib looks over* hmm? *Ad-libs heart does a thing that he has no idea what it means I mean...he isn't used to seeing a cookie so.... beautiful before*...oh? Why thank you I'm ag-lib you are?
“I’m Viridescent Daydream— Though… You can just call me Viri,” He smiles softly at the stranger— No. Ad-lib. His wings flutter again before he calms down.
“It’s a pleasure to meet you! Have you ever been to the faerie kingdom, or is this your first time?”
this is my first time here *ad-lib watches the bug(hehe) having already decided in the back of his mind that he WILL make viri his and only his so no other cookies can have him*...so what do you normally do here
“Well me personally or just in general in the kingdom?” He pauses to greet a cookie, his wings fluttering behind him as he continued walking, “In general… hmhm… Theres shopping… you can always stop by a friend, have a chat, go to places where theres games. We have festivals every once ‘n awhile… I think— I’m not the best one to ask for general things, hehe!”
“Personally, I am the king of this land… my days are often spent tending to royal business… heheh… I guess I managed to time my walk quite well, else probably wouldn’t have seen you!”
*ad-lib nods a few times before asking* you said your a king correct? Do you have a queen? *Ad-lib watches viri the only thing he is thinking is that he will crumble the queen...if there is one of course but for now he walks beside viri awaiting his answer*
“A… queen… Hmn…” He tilts his head, thinking, before smiling softly, “No, it’s only me tending to the faeries. I have no one else. Why do you ask?” He turns and looks at him.
*ad-lib relaxes a whole lot* was just curious *he smiles* so what do you *he gestures to viri* do for fun when you're not busy with your royal duties
“Walks, for the most part! Wander through the flower gardens, talk with the other faeries… Oh!! Read books, and I love watching a play or two!” He realizes he probably shouldn’t get so excited, covering his smile, wings being tucked back in, “Its not often I have time off from my royal duties though, unfortunately. The kingdom stays ever busy, and I must too.”
*ad-lib nods* mmm that does make sense something easy for a overworked king though you could use some help with...all that work I don't suppose you are willing too hm I don't know have me help*ad-lib watches viri*
He tilts his head, before tensing, raising his hands, “I couldn’t possibly burden you with this. You’re just visiting! Enjoy your time here. Besides, a royal is really the only one supposed to do that sort of work.”
He waves his hand, wings pressing flat to his back, “Please, don’t worry about me, dear!”
*his heart almost gives out from being called "dear" ⁄(⁄ ⁄•⁄-⁄•⁄ ⁄)⁄* I'm never busy besides a...script writer wants me dead *he shrugs* besides even if I was busy I would drop everything to help so what do you say my angel
“Wh-what,” His wings tense, spreading and staring at Ad-lib for a moment before his wings tucked back in, “A script writer wants you dead—?? And you want to help me??” He blinks a couple times before shaking his head, “I cannot in good faith put you, a visitor, to work on tasks that are my own. But I can offer you protection from said… script writer wanting you dead…”

He blinks a couple times, a little confused but he nods, “If you accept, I’ll put you in the castle, where I stay… So I suppose, in a way, yes?”
*he mentally cheers at himself but he nods trying not to look toooooo happy with that but somewhat fails and bounces on his toes ever so slightly* okay I shall accept

Ah—“ He pauses, turning, taking Ad-Libs hand and casting some magic on it, a small mark appearing on the back of his hand, “Show that to the guards and you should be able to get inside.”
*Ad-libs face is now completely blue he is blushing so hard he HAS to look away he wants to giggle and almost does a little sound slipping out before he covers his mouth with his other hand all he is thinking is "OH MY WITCHES OH MY WITCHES OH MY WITCHES"*
