first off I love your digital and acrylic portraits! secondly, I saw you were having some trouble finding commissions. 1. have you offered to somehow get the digital portraits printed and sent to people for a higher price and 2. have you worked with oil paints before?
I ask only because pet portraits are a lucrative market, but generally make the most money in oil. personally, I'd recommend charging a LOT more and doing oil portraiture. look up online what other are charging, generally I think in the hundreds of $$ if not thousand+ for perfect pieces. for advertising, I'd keep up Facebook, post locally like physically put up posters, here, and make sure you have a website and a form people can fill out.
I know the upfront cost of materials and a website may not be particularly feasible rn but making everything official looking and accessible I think could really help you make money off your incredible skill
First of all, thank you so much for your support 💗💗🙏
And answering your first question, it's a little difficult to do that in my country, because it’s veeeery expensive but I'd love to do it! Maybe I could sell prints in the future 🤔
And as for your other question, I've painted with oil paints before but the only problem is the price hehe 🫣For now, it's easier for me to paint with acrylics.
Also the goods news are that this month I have work to do!! 🤭 since I got three pet portrait commissions! I'd also love to improve my technique and my painting style. I feel like I still have a long way to go. But lately, I haven't had much time because I have a full time job :,(
(Btw All of my clients are from Facebook so I’ll keep advertising in there too)
Anyway, thank you so much for your advice, I really appreciate it!
