At the 1991 Brazilian GP, when Ayrton was lapping Mika, Mika waved to signal Ayrton that it was safe to overtake.

Mika: I started with the mindset that when I woke up this Sunday morning,when I opened the curtains, I hoped that damn it, if only it would rain, it would go well, because I had a very good wet practice on Friday. And I hoped that it would rain, so of course the sun was shining in the morning.

Q: Did you really feel like trying to pass Senna?

Mika: Of course, because I would have had the chance for it here on the main straight. But because I wouldn't have been able to improve my position...I thought it's better to avoid that risk and not ruin Senna's race too, if something happens. So it was better to just hang behind and see what thoughts are spinning in his head.
