DO I NEED TO BELIEVE/KNOW IN ORDER TO MANIFEST?
So, I’ve noticed a bit of confusion when it comes to knowing that your desire is coming and whether or not you need to ‘believe’ it, in order for it to manifest. I will clarify this now.
All you need to do consciously, is understand that ‘thinking as if’ through affirmations, visualisations, mental diet, and persistence, is what will bring you your desire. You don’t need to believe it, just know that this is how it works, and be open to the possibility that it will work.
You DO NOT need to believe your manifestation with your conscious mind, because it is not your conscious mind that manifests. (The conscious mind is the mind you think with when you are awake. It is the little voice inside your head that you think with every day.)
Let’s be realistic, it is unlikely that we will just blindly believe in our manifestations fully at first and not feel like it’s sort of BS when all evidence supports the opposite, right? We can’t force ourselves to just start to feel like something is true. This is why we don’t need to believe consciously.
Sometimes, even when we are affirming and doing all the right things, we still get anxiety and fear about whether or not it will work, but this doesn’t mean our desires won’t come. Sure, we may be met with some resistance when we are awake and affirming, but this is just our ego and our conscious mind trying to protect us, because it is confused about why we are seeing one thing in the 3D, and affirming the complete opposite in our minds. This is actually a good sign, because it means that our mind picked up on the difference and is recognising it. We just need to keep our thoughts in line and not react to these doubts mentally! It is ok to feel anxious and scared, this won’t stop us. We just need to persist in affirming and thinking right.
If you are able to feel confident about your manifestation in your conscious mind and say with confidence that you know your desire will come, this is great. It will help support you in persisting. But remember that the only thing that matters in manifesting is THE SUBCONSCIOUS MIND - so, you may really feel like you believe when you are awake, and this may be frustrating you because you don’t see it in the 3D yet, but the reason for this is that you still need to impress your subconscious mind with this belief.
Whilst our conscious mind doesn’t need to believe in order to manifest, our SUBCONSCIOUS mind DOES!
So, how do we get ourselves to believe SUBCONSCIOUSLY?
We know that our subconscious mind runs based on our consious thoughts and dominant focuses. So, the way to manipulate our subconscious minds, is through controlled conscious thoughts. (THIS IS WHERE AFFIRMATIONS, INNER CONVERSATIONS, VISUALISATIONS, MENTAL DIET, AND 'METHODS/TECHNIQUES' COME INTO PLAY!)
Our 3D is reflecting our SUBCONSCIOUS BELIEFS, NOT OUR CONSCIOUS BELIEFS. We impress and solidify new subconscious beliefs all the time without realising at all, by continuously focusing on certain things, repeating certain thoughts, and feeding certain stories and narratives to ourselves.
So, if all our lives we have been forming new beliefs by repeatedly focusing on certain things and reacting to the world around us, then we can learn to purposely manipulate our thoughts and focuses to manifest a 3D that is better suited to our desires, right?
This is why we use affirmations that imply that our desires are true in the 3D, and repeat them. Affirmations replace our current thoughts about that desire, and repetition makes the new thoughts the more dominant focus, shining the spotlight on the NEW thoughts, rather than the old. When we finally have new dominant thoughts, and we maintain them as the dominant thoughts, the subconscious mind will catch them, and they will impress on it. The repetition of this is key in solidifying the impression of the new thoughts, in order to make them beliefs.
So, very literally, affirming, keeping your mental diet, and persisting IS the way to form the new beliefs in the subconscious mind. This is all you need to do, and the funny thing is that beliefs are usually impressed without us ever even knowing. This is why we just need to persist no matter what we see and no matter how long it feels like it has been, because everyone will impress their subconscious at different times depending on different factors, and you never know when your belief could impress for you, and manifest into the 3D.
Factors that impact how quickly your subconscious is impressed, can include:
How much resistance you have to persist against to begin with - differs based on past experience, experience with manifesting, and emotional attachment to situation and desire.
How strong your self concept is/if your desire is more important to you than yourself.
How disciplined you are in staying on top of your thoughts and catching and flipping the opposing thoughts to affirmations.
How many opposing thoughts you let through, both noticed and unnoticed.
How often you affirm in general.
How much you react to the 3D.
If you would just live entirely in your affirmations and in the mindset that you already have your desire/that your desire is coming, unwavering - no matter what you see, feel, or think you believe, you could get your manifestation so fast - sometimes in a few days or even less.
This is why some people get their manifestations out of the blue, sooner than expected! They may have thought they didn’t believe their desire because they felt resistance when they were awake and were constantly seeing and/or feeling opposing things and persisting against them, but they still persisted so hard that they ended up impressing their subconscious without even realising they did it!
This is why we encourage you to persist NO MATTER WHAT! You NEVER KNOW when it could be impressed for you! You could literally wake up with your desire and not have seen it coming in the 3D! You just need to persist in thinking as if!
If you have been going for a few months with little to no change, or some change, but not the whole desire, keep the above list in mind. You may be slipping up on something with your mental diet. You may still be working on persisting through resistance and finding the way that works best for you to do what you need to do in the 3D without letting it impact your mind. You may be forgetting that in order to change your reality for good, you need to change yourself because after all, this is about you (so work on your self-concept). Or maybe you just need to prioritise persisting!
You don’t need to believe, you don’t need to force anything, you don’t need to worry. You just need to know what to do, do it, step into your power and persist, and keep persisting no matter what, because everything could change for you at any moment!
Your desire comes from you and the thoughts you feed your subconscious mind. Your desire IS you, it is not separate from you. Remind yourself that your thoughts create and that you need to persist in your new thoughts in order to manifest.
Know that this is all you need to do, and persist in it, no matter what you feel or see. Remind yourself that manifestation of your desire is completely possible, and whether you really feel it or know it, or not, it will still happen if you just persist no matter what!
