Untitled by castles of forestry Via Flickr: If I were to revisit a specific time & place within my memory, to access it as a “thought-picture,” how would it have been distorted by time & my emotions? How do we remember people & places, & how accurate are these memories? ___ The concept is simple - memory is imperfect. Consciousness is not so much a looking glass as a prism; it refracts, repeating details while obscuring others. Using a Holga 120N, an off-camera flash, & expired film I attempt to simulate this fractured subjectivity of human perception.
