My friends and I want to knit/crochet a human body. I figured this was the best way to save and share information.

I started reading these books in third grade and they were the best thing ever. The school library only had the first 6 books and after that I stopped reading them, but then in May I felt like rereading them. I had the plan to read a book a week over the summer. That didn`t happen and I read the first 8 books in 3 days and the last book the same week. Needless to say these are officially my favorite books now. I don`t care if I`m 14 and I still won`t care when I`m 20 these books are awesome.

I’ve knitted my friend a new, happy appendix to replace the one she’s just had removed.

I haven't been working on Agatha since I finished her femur bone. I plan to knit the second femur bone once I have the time to get started on that. I'll be cleaning up the pattern while I do that and will hopefully post the pattern somewhere once I finish the second femur.  Until then, I plan to fill the queue with various posts with pictures or links to other people's attempts at knitting the human body. You know, instead of doing absolutely nothing for months at a time.

Sorry that I haven't been posting lately. The Christmas season overwhelmed me with things to do. Agatha's femur bone has progressed a bit, it's starting to turn to the side (finally). I'll hopefully be working on it soon and I'll posting pictures then.

I'm now attempting the turn the femur for the upper part of the bone. I'm not sure how it's going and it doesn't look like much, so pictures will probably be a while in coming.

So, I've finished the shaft of the femur and the little bumpy-sticky out part. It's not suppose to be that pointed and big, I thought it would flatten out some once it was stuffed. I wasn't about to pull that part out, so it stayed.

Wow, it's been a while. Sorry, about that. 

I'm been working on Agatha's femur, I'm not done but I'm getting closer and closer. I had to pull out several rows today because it wasn't doing what I wanted it to. I'm going to try a different method and see if that gives me the curve I want in the bone.  What was I thinking picking one of the more complicated bones to start with?
