"I slicked it back. How does it look? ...Actually, I did it to copy you, since I admire you." "You idiot! Quit wasting time and get changed!" "Ishiyan's embarrassed!"
Oh, look at which of his zakus decided to drop by. How amusing.
"Ishigaki-kun.. What a surprise.ā Sarcasm dripped from his lips, yet he still was .. oddly glad to see one of his own once more. As per-usual, he could only grin widely, eyes scanning the male over with glee. He only hoped the other male remembered the little rule they had about honorifics.
Captain Ishigaki took a beat before greeting the other. Yes, he remembered not to call him by his last name alone, but only at the last second, just as he opened his mouth. He was tempted to continue with his original 'hello', but that would make Midousuji grumpy.
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Midousuji-kun, good morning. Do you have some free time?"
zaaaku:
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āYouāre so inflexible, I-shi-ga-ki-kun.āĀ Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā The ace fixed his superior with a hollow, unimpressed stare, following his movements on the floor. Truthfully, Ishigakiās flexibility wasnāt anything to be ashamed ofā but by Midousujiās standards, it was pathetic. A lot of things were.Ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā He would have toĀ show him how it was done, if the other was so helpless. Feeling annoyed, Midousuji sunk down next to him, stretching long, spindly limbs out across the floor and reaching past his ankles with a sickeningĀ popĀ of his joints.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā āDo it⦠like thiiiiis.ā
yasashiigaki:
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Inflexible?" Coming from someone like Akira, that might be a valid statement. To make comparison, the new ace was very much like a bag of squishy raw meat with a thick sausage casting and limb. It wouldn't be very shocking if he replaced his spine with a plastic slinky. By the looks of it, this pale ghoulish boy wanted to joined him, which wasn't exactly unwelcome. Ishigaki's brow screwed together in a knot; he cringed at the sounds coming from Midousuji's bones.
He kept his eye on his underclassman and attempted to imitate him. His thigh muscles tugged the underside of his kneecaps.
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Is that better?"
devil-in-broad-daylight Ā Ā zaaaku Ā Ā himehimekirakirarin Ā Ā sakamichiii
Ishigaki reached across from one foot, all the way to his other, stretching out on the floor by his lonesome. He steadily exhaled then glanced up at his company.
Ā Ā Ā Ā "Oh! Uh, hi there."
kimousujii:
"Mmā¦goodā¦" He stood up and brought his face close to Ishigakiās. "I knew I could count on you to keep those zaku in line." He had to focus on improving his own strength and stamina if he wanted to win against Hakone and Sohoku. He didnāt have time to waste on his useless āteammatesā. This training regime was merely a way to break them in; they need to know what it feels like to be broken, if they want to survive. "Meanwhile, Iāll be focusing on achieving victory." He sat back down on the floor.
After a few minutes, he began to clank his teeth against each other. He noticed that the other male was lost in thought, for one reason or another, and quickly grew bored of this. āAhhhhā¦ā He leaned his head back against the couch, before standing up. āGross. Youāre probably thinking of something gross, arenāt you?ā He looked at Ishigaki with an uninterested expression.
yasashiigaki:
Midousuji could 'keep the zaku' in line by himself if he really needed to. Ishigaki didn't need to be there to do it. The other boys didn't have enough fight in them to stand up against someone like the reptilian cycling locust that has so graciously joined their club. It was only easier to leave the 'excess' to him for convenience's sake. It benefited the team to have Ishiyan play the middle man; less faces and necks for Midousuji to breathe down directly. They'd all appreciate that.Ā
"No, I was just thinking, you came all the way here. By bike?" How did this guy get my address again? "You must be thirsty." You'd have kept yourself hydrated either way wouldn't you have? "Do you need something to drink? Or eat?

"Still, just hearing that guy has evenĀ one fan is pretty surprisingā¦who in their right mind would even think to worship that guy??ā That Midousuji kid was disturbing in every sense of the word. Not to mention as far as he could tell, Midousuji didnāt exactly play fairly.Ā
"Hmph, heās probably only focused on the finish line, right?" Why else would he put so much effort just to catch up with the aces of Sohoku and Hakone. "Well, as long as he is your ace, I guess all you could do is help him to the finish lineā¦" He said that with such pity. Having to take orders from that guy, despite him not being the captainā¦it must be hard for the rest of the team, even though Ishigaki seemed to be handling it rather well.
yasashiigaki:
Mizuta, clearly. And strangely enough, Ishigaki had an inkling that he knew why. Maybe it was part of the reason he himself had an ounce of interest in the peculiar cyclist. Support the Ace at all costs; this had never been more true in their case. All or nothing. Kyoto Fushimi must taste victory. If you have the resources and people, you should use them. . .Looks like Nobu isn't the only one that Midousuji is rubbing off on.
"He's someone who doesn't accept anything less than first place. And to put it bluntly, you're in his way. Not you specifically, but your team. If anyone wants to conquer the trail, then they'd have to get past the kings. I don't condone his methods but. . . He's managed to pass some of the best; that's nothing less than incredible. . . If we can help him at the very least, it's something we should be proud of."

Although the comment was probably not intended for him, or even to be answered. Teshima couldnāt help but agree. "It is a little warm."

Koutarou perked his head up then nodded with a smile. Great! Someone who shared his sentiment. Sometimes, it's nice to get into conversations with strangers.Ā
