Father-Son Bonding || ~Fujisaki & Yato~
Again with the lifeless, aloof look. Fujisaki’s breath released in a sigh. Well, at least he had gotten some response from Yato, even if it was only a curt, vague one. That was progress at least, though he wished his son would grant him better conversation. This was… not how it was supposed to be between them. He remembered and yearned for a time when a young, bright-eyed Yato had looked up to him, and carried out his orders with all the enthusiasm of a young boy hoping to please his father. Would that he could have that Yato back, though it seemed that the god had grown into a man who held a different set of beliefs now. Just what were those beliefs? Was he really striving to become a different kind of god, even though his purpose for existing was to act as a necessary bringer of death?
“Come on, Yaboku,” he said in a voice that bordered on whining, “you can tell your old man anything! Like, what have you been up to since coming here? Have you made any friends yet? Oh, have you found a good shinki yet?”
Yato merely continued to stare at him, though his stare hardened slightly and his lips pursed. No freaking way was he going to tell him shit about Yukine! It was a relief that he hadn't mentioned his name already and Yato wasn't planning on talking to his father about him. But regardless he expected an answer to all three questions but he settled to just answering only two.
"More or less," he replied, answering both the question about his shinki and friends. In a sense, it was true. Yukine had still yet to be found and Hiyori... well, Yato wasn't really sure if he wanted her to be his friend at the moment. But hah! Like he was going to talk to the old man about things like that.
