I've been really interested by artists that work with natural material. The rythm and precision and sort of spiritual process makes it interesting. That's what the work of Wolgang Laib and Motoi Yamamoto have in common.

Motoi Yamamoto -Japon- rien que du sel…

L’artiste japonais Motoi Yamamoto crée de superbes installations avec un ingrédient simple: le sel. Avec minutie, patience et précision, il réalise des motifs complexes sous forme de labyrinthes, de dédales et de sculptures monumentales.

Dans la culture japonaise, lorsque vous assistez à un enterrement, vous devez parfois vous jeter du sel comme un acte de purification. Motoi a perdu sa soeur à un jeune âge et depuis cette tragédie, à découler l’idée d’utiliser le sel dans son travail.

Picabia était peintre, poète,  cinéaste,  critique, romancier.Il passait son temps à sortir du cadre. Et les gens n'aiment pas ceux qui sortent du cadre.
