A Different Kind of Resistance
So...here we are. Resist everything, right? Yes, but no...and this is why.
We live in a Universe that is governed by the Law of Attraction. That means that good is attracted to good, and bad attracts more bad. If you’re already rolling your eyes, get your little sweet ass over to Google and look it up.
If you have an understanding of the Law of Attraction, you know that being resistant, or creating resistance, can actually attract negativity and things you may not want. By creating and/or being the resistance in our country right now, you can actually fuel this shitstorm. Why? Because you’re speaking that language-or-you are on that shitstorm wave. You are putting out that same sort of energy that you are fighting against. Of course, this isn’t intentional because that’s not what you want at all! Think about it though, how do you feel, assuming you consider yourself to be part of the “resistance” every time you turn on the tv or (God forbid) look at Twitter? Angry, anxious, outraged, pissed off, terrified, hopeless, etc. Using those emotions to fuel your response and actions puts you right into the middle of the shitstorm, where you are stuck in a continuous cycle. However, if you want to fight, it has to be done a different way.
Stop and think to yourself: Let’s just start with the gag order on the USDA. Yes, it is INSANE. So much of our food is already garbage..what are the possibilities now? So..what do we do? Protest? You could, but it won’t solve the issue. Friends, there has never been a better time to buy local. Start researching your community to find some food resources that suit you. Now, you’ve just supported a local farmer, and he/she can actually talk to you about the food you’re purchasing. Win win. Simply remove the bullshit from the equation, and there is NO better way to fight back. I’ve done a little homework, and here is a great resource for you to find and support your LOCAL food industry:

This site will link you to any local produced/made good you can think of. It’s a win/win: you get clean, safe products which keep you healthier, and you support local families all while blazing middle fingers to the current administration.
Honestly guys, now is the time to simply be kind. Be thoughtful. Help one another. If you think about it, we sort of HAVE to now, because relying on our government isn’t shaping up to be a good choice. For most, it isn’t as simple as just sitting down quietly because this is our president now. He is simply a man that happens to have too much power to enforce some of his radical ideas which will likely result in pain for nearly everyone in today’s society. For most, this is about not sitting down to comply with practices that are ethically and morally wrong. The only way to make actual change is do practice actual change. Be the good. Balance out the negativity by doing something positive. Do something kind for someone. Buy a homeless person a meal. Pay for the police officer’s coffee. Hold the door for someone. Little actions go so much further than you think.
