Ngl I'd love if we had a starter horse redesign that made them look a little more like meteor and tin can. I LOVE the design of those two horses!
I definitely preferred Stargazer (my starter) when he had a sturdier build, and still see him that way. More mustang than skinny sport horse.
I’ve always thought a horse alignment chart would be the best option. Sorta like this (imperfect representation because I cannot draw horses and thus had to use in game breeds, which do not precisely represent the ideal Starter Horse Types, as examples):
Shape customization options for starter horses would be amazing, especially since we're about to get the same for our characters.
and yeah, my Stargazer would be right smack in the middle of that chart if I had my way.
I guess they'd have to change the "Jorvik Warmblood" label, but whatever. I hope that wouldn't hold them back.
I don’t know that they would, though! I think the Jorvik Warmblood seems to be a very versatile breed. Meteor would fall into the ”medium buff” chart category for sure and he’s apparently still a Jorvik Warmblood, so… if I worked at SSE and was in any sort of charge of this, I would be down for it. Jorvik Warmblood isn’t a studbook, it’s just a vibe.
Exactly, warmbloods come in many different shapes. Freiberger, my favorite horse breed from my home country, are warmbloods but they're medium sized, stocky and very strong and are considered "heavy" warmbloods. Braveheart is a Freiberger in my mind.
