Don’t leave it up to trans folx to have this conversation with each other. Cisgender allies need to speak out and demand better for the trans community.
Contact your representatives at every level and ask what they are doing to protect trans people. Demand that they publicly commit to taking action to protect the most vulnerable.
Look for local organizations fighting for trans equality in your neighborhood.

If you have the resources to donate even a little to support trans folx, please do.

Donate to the Transgender Law Center to support the legal needs of the trans community, including supporting those who are incarcerated and isolated.

Check on your friends
Above all else, reach out to your trans friends and let them know you’re there for them. Ask how you can support them right now. Offer to do little things for them, and tell them you will keep fighting on their behalf.

It's beyond amazing how openly hostile the Twitter folks are toward Musk. Now, Musk has been shitting on their work for months, and he didn't even stop once he became his boss, so I can understand the feeling.
What I can't understand at all is how he doesn't realize how bad for the product he has just bought is to have core engineering employees up in arms against him. Unless he really don't care if twitter just burn down.

This pretty much means that no dev can 'finish' any work they are doing and launch it. Which is not super unusual, every company has some of those from time to time.

Oh woah, very important context about who @sachee is (I'm just a humble JavaScript guy, I didn't know she was such a big fish). And... Yeah, as other notes have pointed out, she has been fired already:
And don't get me wrong, she totally looked for it: if you post, publicly, that your boss can kiss you ass... Well, you know what you are up to. Same for the android guy they fired yesterday.
What's incredible is the Musk has managed to have so many engineers in open rebellion, almost looking to be fired. See, engineers are usually a quiet folk. As a group, we usually don't steer the pot too much: we are the folks who earn crazy amounts of money for a job we usually enjoy, so, sadly, we tend to put up with any kind in bullshit in silence. I have seen entire engineering organizations melt away several times, and there is always the kind of comments we are seeing on Twitter... in private. In DMs, or private channels, or small group watercooler conversations. But even if you are 100% sure you want out, you don't want to openly fight management: you want to find another job that's cozy and interesting before leaving, and even when you do, the tech world is kind of small, it's in your own interest to leave without leaving any beef behind, just in case you meet the same people again in the future.
The fact that so many engineers, high profile ones even, are dissing management at this level means that they not only want out, but they want out ASAP and they are expecting for the company to really meltdown so their own leave ends being just an anecdote in the overall Pompeii-like story of The End Of Twitter.
In any other week, someone like @sachee leaving Twitter like this would be the biggest and sauciest news of the development scene for weeks. Now? It will probably be forgotten by the end of the day, buried under who knows what.
When this happened I saw people dump on sachee for getting fired and imply she'll have trouble finding a job. Which is REAL funny after reading this post.
The funniest part is that even today Musk-stans are on Twitter saying things like "now Elon can bring the best people to work here", and it's like... Oh boy, I have some news for you about who he has been firing lately 😂

Hiveswap/Homestuck vs. Friendsim musical canon
I talked about this briefly on twitter but a handful of the characters in friendsim have “canon” music that we don’t use because it doesn’t fit the mood of the route. A great example is Konyll’s music.
In Hiveswap Act 2 there is a significant interaction with her that I won’t spoil, but it involves Azdaja as well. When you overlap their two songs, it becomes a full melody. (kind of like their trollcall card, two sides of one coin etc)
With characters like Remele, who have tracks made for them for Friendsim, it follows what I’ve been referring to as the established “Musical Canon” in that the instrumentation choices are largely based on blood caste. Homestuck has a tradition of doing this whether it wanted to or not a lot of the time and I spent a great deal of time reverse engineering the existing canon to make hiveswap feel like it fit. A good example of this is something like Tagora’s and other tealbloods tracks being the only ones allowed to use harpsichord. “But what about Tri-” shh!
anyway the established musical canon in hiveswap is something like: Burgundy: Synths/Percussion Brown: Trumpet/Horns/Brass Yellow: Chiptune ???: ???? Olive: Mallets Jade: Harps/Bells + Airy/Ethereal Sounds Teal: Harpsichord Cerulean: they just… steal other castes instruments so its complicated to explain. Indigo: Overwrought and Orchestral Purple: Honks lmao Violet: At this point they are so individual that each one has its own musical motif Fuchsia: Whatever they want. none of these are hard rules so those of you out there doing fantroll stuff can just do whatever you want, this is just what we came up with.
