Got stopped by a Walmart receipt checker when doing a walk out

OH FUCKING BOY So I was getting g groceries and gonna walk out right? All the normal stuff I’m doing, the Eco bags, everything. I go to walk out with an old receipt in hand and “on my phone”

This guy probably in his 40s is a Walmart greeter just doing his job and he stopped me and demanded to check my receipt. I denied A- Because I was shoplifting and B- because I knew that its perfectly legal for me to deny. They can’t force me to hand over that slip of paper unless it was a club store (Sam’s club) so I said, no thank you.

He demanded I hand it over AND grabbed my cart oh boy was I pissed. I said you can’t force me to hand over my receipt and you also can’t keep my items from me. I purchased them and that’s all there is to it and I’m leaving. And he then said I had to stay and wait for his manager or something and I said “Am I being detained?” That mother fucker left me alone after I said that, because I could have cried false imprisonment

Hey y'all! I just wanted to show you guys one of my favorite lifting tools, my magic starbucks cup! I took an ordinary, unassuming starbucks cup, washed it out, cut slits in the bottom, and lined it with foam so I can just slip stuff like makeup and panties in there. You can use various sizes depending on what you want to lift. Good luck my pretty criminals!! 😘😘😘

So I went to a clothing store today in my state that sells cute/trendy clothes. They’re really cheap too and I was with my mother in law so I had no intention of lifting. Inside the fitting rooms are these benches and after I was done trying on clothes I start snooping around the room… Particularly for hard tags. I checked under the benches and thought to myself “nahhh that’s too obvious” then I climbed on the bench and looked on top of the body length mirror and I SAW THIS. I was like wow lifting minds think alike lol (the bench and mirror is pretty high, I’d say this is about 9 feet in the air)

Do you think that if you scanned a gift card at a self checkout and then just left, or delete it from your cart on the screen (while paying cash and buying other items at the same time so its not sus) you could activate it?
