She is Saradaās mother and Sasukeās wife. She is a comrade-in-arms with Naruto and Sasuke, and she was formerly assembled into the same team as them. Q: Speaking of female characters, Sakura, who has completely become a mother was also quite impressive. The way she protects her beloved daughter with great effort in place of her husband (Sasuke) who canāt come home because of his mission (gave readers) a sense of motherhood.Kishi: Although the couple rarely see each other, their āfeelings are connectedā just as Sakura said. Kishi: I didnāt keep it in mind that much because I wanted to go with the flow (of the story). I drew (the story) while contemplating whether Sasuke and Sakura will end up together or what. I didnāt put Sakura in the heroineās position anyways. Although Naruto is special as the protagonist, the others were equal and not categorized as main or minor. (The romances) were decided on how the characters will act as the story (proceeds). But halfway through I also thought that Naruto and Sakura were probably not that (not right). Somehow I did decide on (them/the romances) at a rather early stage.

Basically, it says that at the premiere, Chie-san laughingly told Kishi that Sakura gave off the feeling of being broken-hearted when giving Naruto āthe last rites over the deceasedā in the movie (donāt ask meā¦ even the article put a question mark after that part XD) - and that she wanted to know what had happened between her and Sasuke, not just between Naruto and Hinata. The article says that she was literally begging Kishi to write about it. To which Kishimoto apparently nodded and answered with āCertainly, people are interested in Sasukeās sideā¦ Iāll be thinking about various thingsā. Then he said very earnestly that he wanted Sakura to be happy, since heās only been making her experience painful things until now.
