i’m imagining how horrific the situation that landed grace on the hail mary would seem to rocky. like. eridians are completely helpless when sleeping, so the idea of forcing someone to go unconscious against their will is probably a Bad No No in eridian culture. Plus they have seemingly flawless memories—the concept of forgetting anything at all is odd to him.

so bottom line, knocking someone out and giving them amnesia??? it’s probably even more of a nightmare for eridians than it would be for humans.

My base criterias:

No recognisable human facial features -- ie, no human shaped faces, so Zane and Guinevere don't count. The more robot or u human it looks, the better. Roz doesn't have a human face and Caine is a set of dentures, so it's fine)

AI turned rogue -- hasta la vista give me robots who defied their code for better or worse

Two minds

Somewhat of an update. I finally had my first therapist appointment, and they highly suspect I'm bipolar. That if it were true, I'll need to be medicated my whole life.

Docs wanted to meet with my parents. I have 10 days to think about it.

Can't say that I'm aversive towards being bipolar. I hate it. It's worse than being neurodivergent bc I've lived through consequences. And it's a lot more worse coming. It's not something you can power through with willpower. You're sick. Fragile. And you will be, constantly, choosing safety over ambition and stability over the desired high pace, stressfully challenging but rewarding work experience.

I missed the person I was before my first manic episode. But I don't think there was ever a first. I'm bummed out enough knowing this might been going on way before I signed up for my degree. Maybe 14. I'll take thyroid over bipolar any day now.
