“Did you just say… legal issues?” Either this guy was totally oblivious to the outside world — more so than Hibiya himself, which was some feat — or he was trying to make him run away from him.
He takes a single step back, face slightly contorted, sure that this was some kind of demented kidnapper, from whom he’d never escape once he was in his clutches, yet — he stops, that word makes him stop. Wishes. His forehead furrows, watching him suspiciously. “What do you mean? What kind of wishes?”
Sure, he was probably crazy. But Hibiya had seen a lot of things that shouldn’t be real, and there was one thing he truly wished was.
“Oh--!”
He seemed considerably more relaxed as the boy asked for clarification, much more used to the situation.
“What kind of wishes? The kind you make, obviously. Absolutely anything. ‘I wish to be the richest man in the world’. ‘I wish my girlfriend was alive again’. Heck, ‘I wish the sky was purple’! I can do anything. That’s my job.”
A rose appears in the Yellowloid’s hand and he holds it up to his face, smiling.
“You have something you want, don’t you? I can give it to you in the blink of an eye. Anything. I’ll even prove my abilities before you decide, even. Consider it a trial run.”
