[WEEK 16 -17] DEVBLOG# 13.1

Outline of what I have done:

I have developed and designed the official wordpress site for Stone Productions, featuring all the features included in myCampus & myCamobile.

There were some updates to UI buttons for myPhotoshoot! Here’s a picture to show all the new UI button icons that have be updated to show clearly what they represent!

[WEEK 15] DEVBLOG# 12.1

Outline of what I have done:

I have started to work on multiple visual Instagram posts to promote the multiple social campaigns that Stone Productions will host to encourage more viewers into our capstone project: myCampus!  Heres a peek of some visual posts I have created!

Additionally, I have worked on creating our Stone Productions Official wordpress site: https://stoneproductions.peopleofamphibi.com, which will still need more updates and content to beef it up.

[WEEK 14] DEVBLOG# 11.2

Outline of what I have done:

I have build out both mobile versions of myCampus (now named to myCamobile for the mobile version) 

1920 x 1080 version

2960 x 1440 version

I have also created two official promotional posters to promote our mobile app and to encourage more people to use the kiosk. 

What’s next?

Now our capstone project has come to its final stages with all the features already developed into the interactive kiosk! So all that is left is basic touches on polishing of our app on Unity3d so that it will be more user-friendly and interactive.

Outline of what I have done:

I am polishing up all the features for both mobile versions:

[WEEK 13] DEVBLOG# 10.1

Outline of what I have done:

I have integrated new works in Showcase and worked out with my art director, Yuan Yin to integrate new button icons for myPhotoshoot. However, this is still in progress as I will need to update more new icons for myPhotoshoot, hence I will not be able to showcase the new product. So stay tuned for next week for more updates!  Additionally, I have created a google form : https://docs.google.com/forms/d/16TAX6twL7QfxACaxp5xxwuY2UK31bLHZl11Dz5Yfgd4/edit( to encourage NP students to share their works, even branching out to Instagram to share this google form out. Currently, one student has shared their works so his works have already been updated on the Kiosk version of myCampus, just leaving out phone version of myCampus. [WEEK 11 & 12] DEVBLOG# 9.1

Outline of what I have done: I have integrated the myShowcase (used to be myPortfolio, however, there is a name change due to relook at the features), emded view of NP 360 and myPhotoshoot (only for mobile versions) in the main app. Heres a video to showcase the integration (note: NP 360 webview is not shown due to inability to show on computer):

Stone Productions have decided to move our project of myCampus to mobile too development too for users to access the myPhotoshoot (which can only be accessed through android vers of 7 and above (API Level 26 and above)).

 Hence, there will currently be three versions of myCampus:

Kiosk version of myCampus with myPhotoshoot

Kiosk version  of myCampus without myPhotoshoot

Mobile version  of myCampus

Whats next?  I will be working on the integration of the mobile version of myShowcase for the mobile version of myCampus. What are the improvements needed?

[Week 9] DevBlog# 7.3

Outline of some updates for myPortfolio:

After discussing with my teammate, Yuan Yin, I have adjusted the UI orientation of the myPortfolio. The dustbin button position will be set to this for now, however, there will still be changes. Additionally, I took out the scrollbar and added buttons to click for more buttons. Due to time management, I plan to finish this feature by mid of Week 10. Stay tuned for more updates!

[Week 9] DevBlog# 7.2

Some latest updates for the new feature: myPortfolio. Here’s a video to showcase the updates!

Summary of the updates:

dustbin button to drag and delete the planet (we will not be using planets, so that part is still in development) 

for more buttons, a scroll bar allows for the scrolling for more buttons to spawn more panels

[Week 8 & 9] DevBlog# 7.1

Outline of what I have done:

I have updated the my Photoshoot and it is completed now with the confirmed designs that have been designed by Yuan Yin. The video will also feature the sharing function which can be used after clicking the take photo icon button which will be the marketing function for users to save their photos in their emails!

This is the polished up wireframe look of my Portfolio (credits to Yuan Yin for doing up this wireframe), which will be the next feature I will be developing after I have included the animation in the scene transition. myPortfolio will be an interactive display of seniors’ works for juniors to look at, delete the ones they do not think is relevant and be inspired from the works. 

Additionally, I have started on creating the ui buttons for the dustbin function for this feature. So stay tuned for more!

[Week 7] DevBlog# 6.1

Outline of what I have done:

I have created the main page and linked it into the Face AR feature with transitions! The face AR feature is done and will add more background designs! Additionally, I also designed the design above to fit the main page! However, due to hardware limitations, when I was testing this on the kiosk, the Kiosk android version is 5.0 not 7.0 so the face AR cannot be integrated in the kiosk but we can add a Samsung tablet to use it on and integrate it on the side of the machine!

What’s next?

I will be working on the Amphibi Studio showcase feature to add in the Kiosk prototype! The plan is to use the buttons on the left to spawn the ui images on the side in that order and the dustbin button below is for users to drag the ui images and throw them away to spawn new ones! This will be the additional interactive side of showcasing Senior’s works! This feature will replace the attendance feature of the kiosk! The asset I will be using to play around with is Touch Script. More details will be shown later so stay tuned! Deadline: I plan to finish the Amphibi Studio Showcase by end of Week 9.

[Week 6] Devblog #5.1

Outline of what I have developed 

I have finished with the buttons that can be individually clicked to change to the texture shown (however individual button designs may need to change) but functionalities are there. I have included a fun video below to showcase how it looks like currently!

What’s next?

Next will be to use Native Sharing SDK to allow users to share the screenshots of the images!! Here’s the link to Native Share for android and IOS! Additionally, I will be working with Yuan Yin with the designs for the face filter & the backgrounds! Target Deadline

[Week 4 & 5] Devblog #4

Outline of what I have developed

Developing on the Unity application in trying to use AR Foundation to create an Facial AR detection so that I can create an AR photo booth so that Students can use it for recreational purpose. I have also included a wireframe design of how I structure the main page. I have discussed and shown the UI button animations, so it is confirmed.

I also made the basic Scene transition between screens.

What to review & do by the next week again:

I will finish up on  AR detection to allow the eyes be be seen and enable swap filter function so that there is a swap on the designs on face I will also be working with my Teammate Yuan Yin for the design for face filters so that it will fit the feel by which the Kiosk is going for. I would also want to finish doing up camera function so that it takes the photo and links to send it out through 2 methods which is Instagram & Email.  Themes listed: - 1 maybe can be like "Im a designer", like all the items related to designer 

- 1 maybe for ICT-related

- 1 maybe for Stone Production

- 1 maybe for myCampus

Obstacles foreseen:

I am still quite worried about the other features as we still have the promotion of Canvas Yogurt & Attendence taking as I am finishing up on this AR photoshoot feature. Due to my Android SDK problem, I still have to rely on my teammate Van for the building of testing prototypes so that it will work.

[Week 3] Devblog #3

1. What did I do yesterday/last worked on?

I have last working on the final unity project file with our features of: 1. Auto slideshow of all designed Posters 2. coding of the current time and day of the main page  3. Designed the rough idea of our animation for loading screen

2. What will I be doing tomorrow?

Tomorrow, I’ll be finishing up on the loading screen for the application and testing a sample of the application on the ViewSonic EP5540T 55" EPoster after finishing up the loading screen. I will also be taking some time for research on Banuba which is an artificial intelligence lab specializing in augmented reality SDK development so that I can integrate face recognition in the Kiosk to make it more fun and interactive.

3. Obstacles faced/will be facing.

It will take me a while to research as I may need the rest of the time after implementing to do extra things like getting approval to link it to Npal system to do even facial recognition attendance taking so I am worried about time of whether I can get those done.

[Week 2] Devblog #2

1. What did I do yesterday/last worked on?

I was working on 3 posters that were targeted as the main page, intro to leadership experience & opportunities and publicizing of the grass patch area in Blk 27 of Ngee Ann Poly as a recreational area. 

2. What will I be doing today/working on ?

Today, I’ll be reviewing the wireframes and designing ideas together with Yuan Yin on the possible ideas of how the prototype of the kiosk ui structure is like. I am also intending to finish up wireframes so that Yuan Yin can polish it up in the same week.

3. Obstacles faced/will be facing.

My role in the team is to be a programmer so I will need to be researching on the new features like facial recognition which still has not been done yet and then the integration of Spark AR into Unity (My hope is to figure out and implement by Week 5 / 6).

[Week 1] Devblog #1

What I have currently done: I have designed three posters, one for the main page, feature poster for the Grass Patch area in ICT building and Leadership camp opportunities. These are the posters that will be put up when the kiosk is in screen saver mode. - helped out with designing the wireframes with Yuan Yin (Pastel Stone)  What I have to do: - Implementation of wireframes into unity - Spark AR integration

- Change of language implementation

- User Testing/ User Persona
