Why meeting someone online isnât weird at all:
Our generation grew up with technology and the internetÂ
Since we all grew up with technology, we know all about internet safety.
If youâre going to meet in person, youâre going to sure as hell confirm their identity before you do so because youâre not an idiot.Â
We arenât naive enough to believe out of billions of people on the planet, our soulmate or even best friend is going to live next door.Â
Joining blogging communities involves socializationÂ
Gaming online with thousands of people? Youâre bound to click with someone
Everyone is connected through the interwebsÂ
Itâs easier to find someone you relate to online compared to in personÂ
Not everyone is trying to catfish or abduct you
This is so important

At the makeup store I worked at we used to get men coming in w their wives/girlfriends and they would often scoff at everything and one time a guy maybe in his early 50s came in w his family and while his wife & daughter were looking around, he and his son stood near the counter and he was like âdonât you wish you were a boy? Haha!â and when I asked why he replied âthen you wouldnât have to waste time with all this useless stuff!â and then went on to be like âlol silly vapid women ur all so vain hahaâ for a while. I got sick if it eventually and was like âyeah it is a waste of time, things would be much easier if we didnât have to worry about makeup or boring stuff like doing our hair and shaving :)))) You should probably tell your wife not to bother anymore :) because itâs such a useless waste of time :)))â and suddenly he looked really concerned and he was like âoh but shaving is for hygiene! And I mean she ENJOYS all this stuff andâŠshe looks nice soâŠâ and babbled for ages about how not shaving is wrong and how he prefers how his wife looks when she puts âeffortâ into her appearance.
So likeâŠhe was all for mocking women for âwasting time on this useless stuffâ and having a good olâ laugh about how silly and vain women are bc it made him feel superior or whatever but panicked at the thought that his wife might not âput effortâ into her appearance.
I fucking hate this about men. My father mocks me sometimes for being âvainâ but then constantly goes on at me about how I need to go comb my âmessyâ hair and etc.
Yikes. Men are evil
men absolutely expect women to âput effort into our appearanceâ, the part they donât like is the part where they have to see it. This is also why men like ~natural girls who are still wearing makeup but with natural shades; you have to be beautiful but you canât let them see that it takes time, effort, energy, money and labour
I am 100% sure this is why itâs considered ârudeâ or âunladylikeâ to put on makeup in public.Â
I just⊠âShaving is hygienic!â Yes⊠because only women contract illnesses when they donât shave. Men donât shave and they just amplify their âman-nessâ *rolls eyes into the sun*

The TSA made this Sikh comedian remove his turban for âsafetyâ
Comedian Jasmeet Singh was traveling after a performance at UC Berkeley when Transportation Security Administration agents stopped him at a security checkpoint in a San Francisco. He documented the whole thing in tweets (above). Singh later explained to his followers why TSA asking a Sikh to remove his turban is not the same as asking a flier to remove his shoes.
