book 2 is so funny Laurent doesn't so much fall for Damen as awkwardly scramble downhill... he's so thirsty and it's so hard for him to keep it in check every time Damen is strong or capable or protects him you can SEE him losing his mind so badly. he's so tired. poor guy hasn't gotten a break in 10 years

Re-reading CaPri and realizing why it makes me emotional all the time is because for who they are Damianos and Laurent should only bring the worst in each other, they should destroy each other with every chance they have but actually it is the opposite.

They grow, they get better and they finally get to be loved and love as they deserve.
