There’s no justice in this world.
“ I was walking on the street in Germany, when I noticed on one of the sidewalks a few gold painted stones upon which words were craved in German. They were put in this old spot to honor some of the Jews who were severely oppressed by Nazis. One of those stones was carved with “ Here lived ( name ) who ran away to ( and the word also means refuged to ) Palestine in 1931 “
And another stone with the same words with another name and another date….. I felt like I’ve found an evidence to give those who claim Palestine belongs to the Jews.
I took my phone out and took pictures till they exceeded 20.
A man was passing by me. I asked him with my simple German to explain what was written here and why?!
He explained to me until he got the word “ Palestine “. Then I asked him “ Palestine ? and where is that ? “. “it’s in the Middle East” He answered .
So, I said “ Really! Where ?? I know all Arab countries. There’s no Palestine”… To which he replied “ Now it’s called Israel! “
And as if I knew nothing I asked “ and it’s originally Palestine ?” He said “yes”.
“ Then why did the name change ? “ I asked
He stuttered. As if what he wanted to utter forbidden words that he keeps deep within.
I said to him “ Sir, I am Palestinian. I am sorry, I just wanted to know something and now I do. you mean to say those people ran away to my country and my grandparents welcomed them”.
“ And they were safe there? “
“ And how do you feel about the fact that the grandchildren of those refugees now live in Palestine. And the grandchildren of the welcoming people, like me , have never seen Palestine and have no right to visit it ?”
He shook his head and said “ There is no justice in this world” “
