The new Pharisees of The times.
Its the self righteousness and sense of justice that has begun to chip on to the faith of our Catholic brethren.
What they are showing crying for justice and forcing their views on people they deem as sinful and heathens have made them into fascists. They are a far cry from what their faith has taught them how to be.
How would Jesus deal with this has been absent from them and is replaced by “you don’t fit into my world view and you should be treated as garbage” brand of righteous arrogance thinking they aren’t exhibiting sins themselves.
Lesser evil. Deep seethed hate and lack of forgiveness is what they have begun to practice. They have forgotten how Jesus dealt with the pharisees, the romans and the scribes.
They have become the new pharisees and scribes of old and play judge and use the scriptures to justify their attitudes skipping the part of how Jesus dealt with the arrogant pharisees of his time.
Even the priests have stopped using dogma and have mixed in their opinion and paraded it as dogma even if it isn’t.
It has come full circle how the people who were oppressed have become the oppressors, judge and executioners in the name of the faith that has nothing to do with their sanctimonious waywardness.
It’s sad that they fail to see their hubris. How they have abandoned Jesus” teachings and use their own to justify their unchristian like behavior.
What is worse is they preach of the word but lack it’s understanding and cherry pick scripture to suit their needs and boost their self standing. They have begun to blow their horns to announce to the world that they ate superior and untouchable just like the pharisees of old.
The new pharisees have emerged and are terrorizing what they consider unsightly to them just as their predecessors did in Jesus” time.
Oh! the irony!
