for the next rhythm heaven game i want it to be entirely sequels to older games, but you get to see how all the characters have changed and grown. i think the reporter lady and wrestler got married and he is now her house husband. all of the monkey characters live in a sanctuary together to help their declining population. the cat and dog that play badminton are now playing on a professional level, in front of a stadium of people. the ‘into you’ lady is trying to put her career back on track after serious controversy. the alien has become an important part of the farmer’s family life, and tutors his children. the chorus kids, now destitute, are singing on the street for spare change.

also one of them will canonically transition without any fanfare. my money is on soccer ball boy
