Ah. I haven’t touched this blog is quite some time, huh?

Well, The sims 3 has been completely removed from my computer for a while now. It just did not work anymore, my computer couldn’t handle it. I’m enjoying the sims 4, as detailed in my personal simblr. Between not wanting to bog it down with lots of CC, not watching as much yogs content anymore, and just enjoying my custom sims and their lives, I don’t see myself doing anymore yogsims. I’ll leave this blog here, but it likely won’t be updated anymore in the foreseeable future.

Hey thank you so much for making This blog it's inspired me to make my own blog for the yogs(ims). I'm not trying to copy you but your blog did make me a total sims addict. Anyway I have a question, which do you think is better sims 3 or 4.

Oh, 2, 3, and 4 all have their own strengths and weaknesses. Three I found best for this sort of thing because of its more open world and story progression. However its strengths were also part of its weakness, it is a very unstable, glitchy game that’s hard on the computer, with worlds like the one in Island Paradise being nearly unplayable. I haven’t done too much with 4 yet, I’m actually having a hard time getting very immersed in it. One feature I wish they’d kept is the customizable lifespans. There’s just normal, short, and long, and for my regular non-yog gameplay normal’s too short and long’s too long. I like the idea of the multitasking system 4 has, where they can in theory do several tasks at once, however I find it usually results with tasks just being slowed down from being bombarded with social interactions. So often I find myself going “Let her eat breakfast she has to get to work!” I don’t think EA will ever make a perfect sims game, because while they have great ideas, they can’t be arsed to put enough time and effort into making them work.

So um... to actually answer your question, as I said in the beginning, they’ve got their own strengths and weaknesses. I found 3 to best for this blog. Though it’s so hard on my computer and crashes so often I’m not sure if I’ll even continue it.

Made Duncan, had to make his buddy. However for whatever reason, be it NanoSounds or Kim herself, I can never get her quite right! Idk what it is. She’s tricky that one... Also too tall.

Look what I did! I have no intention of making this sim a regular part of the blog, but I was bored and thought I’d see how well I could make my favorite yog in the new game. I know the glasses aren’t really his style but the ones that were weren’t the right color and looked weird.

Heads Up

I may have just blown a bunch of money on the sims 4 and all its extras except a couple stuff packs, so I will probably be messing with that for some time... And as I’m just learning how to even play the new version I have no plans for yogs any time soon. This means activity here will probably grind to a halt for an unkown amount of time. I may go back and play with them more, we’ll see.

And so, the Yogsims are (hopefully) back. Assuming of course that my PC doesn’t scare me and stop working again o.o (Which is partly why I haven’t been posting anything of them in a while)

I should probably write down all the CAS stuff I used for them, just in case my PC freaks out again and I do lose the files. But oh well. I’ll get round to that.

In the time it took to set up a vacation these two had TWO fights. The vampire won one, the fairy won the other.

I’m kind of losing inspiration for these sims right now, so I’m taking requests on what to do with them

Now I’m not so into the idea of stuff like “Make _ make out with _!” but more general things like “Send these people on vacation to this country.” “Have this person develop this skill/pursue this career” or “Have these two people interact.”

I like to think that vampire!Lalna is polyamorous (possibly witch!Lalna too) and was hoping for a relationship with both the witch and fairy. However Fairy!Lalna was not for it, and is obviously not happy with what he just witnessed. Drama in clone house!
