Rolin Jones carrying that worn tattered book around for decoration he didn’t read shit! Oh you wanted to see Nicki’s story? His struggles as a human that were intensified as a vampire? his ever growing desire for greatness he never achieved because he was never good enough? How he created the theatre and his choice to dance into the flames? how he affected lestats future relationships esp with Louis? TOO BAD! You wanted to see Gabrielle’s struggle with gender living vicariously through her son seeing him live the life she cannot have? How vampirism was her only escape? She found freedom in being an undefined creature, running wild and unattached? Well we gave her a cunty bob, a push up bra and she wants to fuck her son. You wanted to see Armand’s obsession with lestat and his reciprocated love? How Armand begged Lestat not to leave him behind to the point of physical abuse? And lestats infatuation with the gremlin? No Lestat can’t stand Armand’s desperation.

I just wonder why Rolin Jones chose to adapt this story if he wasn’t going to adapt the story?
