SAKHIII, I apologize to everyone please, I was really going through difficult and agonizing times in my life, and staying strong was only through Bhakti, the certainty that I had Hari's love, that's what kept me going, but both due to my fault, and the dark environment that is everyday life, I was going through several terrible things, and that's why I'm only breathing again now, because Krishna and his leelas were what brought me to write again.

Many texts from the University, words spoken, and familiar situations in an environment so far from Vasudev's warmth made me feel like a hostage to a cycle of sadness, also given the bodily ailments I've been feeling completely foolish, I was afraid, even though I shouldn't have been.

It's like all these days have been a cloudy void for me, and I couldn't remember anything properly, but now I'm recovering, and little by little fixing my ability to keep fighting for the dharma, I must apologize again, now I return through all my will to stay close to Hari and his devotees, I thank you all for continuing to be here, this is a home where I feel safe, as being close and serving the devotees of Hari is the true Honor for me.

These distant moments, in which I seek nothing but the annihilation of my existence, are painful, my love. These thoughts should not, not upon me. I say no to this pain, Krishna is my only, my first and last. Krishna is my heart. I have been given to Hari, and nothing will take him from me.

I've been thinking about this recently, if I were to go to Vaikuntha, I wouldn't want to go in my body, no, I imagine stepping on the water and making noise, and that would bother him, right? Tell me, lord of the auspicious village, is it against the Rules to lament being so far from the final countenance of Kaliya? Woe is me! I tremble imagining how joyful it would be to bear on the top of my head the marks of the lotus feet of the beloved one who sways his resplendent hair tied to the most graceful peacock feathers, just as Kaliya received the blessing to bear. Having passed through the unfathomable gaze of Garuda, there is no one who would question the irreplaceable mark of the rain cloud-colored dancer.

The man who plays with the flute like a young bird testing its wings, plays on top of my head; he takes my breath while I sleep, he takes his time winding strand by strand of my hair, whispers right on the top of my forehead, where the words slide down the corridor; oh no! It is the agonizing hesitation of the dew against the spring flowers, which with such sorrow and anxiety leads me back to him, the one who relates to the passing of time, moving his graceful waist, swaying the golden ornaments that are like the tears I cry, calling his name, searching for the chief of all cupids everywhere, where is he? where is he? my sweet flute-playing boy, where are you? THANK YOUUU SAKHII!!! I have repeated Andal's song to the kuyil poem so many times that this ache ended up crystallizing in my chest!! It's all thanks to him, of course, who knows all the words, and whispers them in my ears in the most wonderful way possible, without me even realizing he's there, it's really the kind of separation that isn't separate, it's the one that keeps you alive, only he knows how to do that, I can't even explain it myself!!

As I write, my hands are completely free, my fingers were also mourning as I scribbled on the sheet, I have no doubt that it was him showing every little fragment of his beauty as I wrote, not to torment me, no, he never does that, but to make the text stop being a simple text and become a part of his dazzling figure, that's what I feel, my heart full of love and happiness.

There is nowhere without you.

Inspired by this poem by @merevasudevmeremadhav

I will not write, so much do I withdraw, in the way these words escape my mouth, moist with ecstasy and dread? No! Not that! What purpose does all this measured rhythm serve, a rhythm that seems to want to break my skin? Little by little I deprive myself of the subtle closeness inherited from the very insistence on sounds, all for this clamor of the dancers sent directly by Indra! No, not that!

Tell me, lord of the auspicious village, is it against the Rules to lament being so far from the final countenance of Kaliya? Woe is me! I tremble imagining how joyful it would be to bear on the top of my head the marks of the lotus feet of the beloved one who sways his resplendent hair tied to the most graceful peacock feathers, just as Kaliya received the blessing to bear. Having passed through the unfathomable gaze of Garuda, there is no one who would question the irreplaceable mark of the rain cloud-colored dancer.

The man who plays with the flute like a young bird testing its wings, plays on top of my head; he takes my breath while I sleep, he takes his time winding strand by strand of my hair, whispers right on the top of my forehead, where the words slide down the corridor; oh no! I am furious with this writing! How joyful it would be to replace the little letters and sounds in their designated roles, to be chanted under the yagna, and then carried in the arms of Agni to the one who has opulent golden fish earrings.

I allow myself to dream, to dream that I could be the favorite words of the one who bears lips as rosy as lotus buds the night before they bloom. It is at this moment that my arms give way, countering the austerity of this foolish servant! It is not weakness, No! No! It is the agonizing hesitation of the dew against the spring flowers, which with such sorrow and anxiety leads me back to him, the one who relates to the passing of time, moving his graceful waist, swaying the golden ornaments that are like the tears I cry, calling his name, searching for the chief of all cupids everywhere, where is he? where is he? my sweet flute-playing boy, where are you? I beg again, how many times will I have to say it? There is no samadhi without your celestial throat, which carries the entire universe within it, nor without your eyes, which still carry the reflection of my longing even amidst the smudged chandam, and the most beautiful eyelashes I have ever seen in my entire life.

Catching my wrist in his where it belonged like strings of fate, he didn't wait, to intertwine his hands in mine as we walked by the lake with the cool dusk breeze grazing our face. The radiance of his face just as gold dipped in honey, his eyes never lost their mysterious gaze laced with playfulness that he carried in his suave demeanor just like the wind here that never changes. The green blades of soft grass crushing beneath our bare feet as we walked through them.

"you seem awfully quiet, priye, something on your mind that's clouding that playfulness of yours?"

And his voice, could there be a way to talk to him without drowning in the depths; the voice of thunder hushed by the soft pitter patter of the rain, mixed with petrichor, like breathing life into the month of August itself.

"nothing much...just....do you really have to leave?.... maybe you can send dau and stay here for some more? Maiya will get worried a lot, kanha...."

"you talk of everyone but yourself mhm?....what about you?....the reason for your maun vrat is just that...or something more?"

What's there to hide, you can never hide from him, neither maakhan, nor your deepest feelings that you still haven't come to terms with,...you do love him, love is all that you do for him... but just how much right does one have over the other?

"i will....i will miss you of course,...you shouldn't question me like that...." Turning your gaze away from him as if this confession is the equivalent of accepting that a part of your being will be ripped off of you....no....not so soon....not yet....no.No.NO.

And what does he do when my heart is at war with the circumstances themselves? Taking both hands in his bigger ones, soft to the touch yet rough from his side quests that he still hasn't told me about

"there's a lot to explain, priye...a lot to say, but not enough time to hold you in my arms and tell you the reasons and the why's....time is above all, above us all, it's the greatest teacher and your critic,...and come what may with the way it unfolds,... don't ever forget me"

"forget you?....i forget to blink when I see you, forget to breathe when I'm near you,...forget to perform when it's you...but my heart can never forget you, you've seared yourself on it"

With his gentle smile, he takes your hand retreating you both back to your homes, leaving you with the gentle unknowing of his journey to a faraway land in the west, far from the quietness he was born and brought up in, in the safe, nurturing and warm embrace of his maiya.

Missing him isn't selfish, for i even miss holding his heart searing hot with tears he didn't shed on the day he left; for i miss running my hands through his soft dark curls for all the times he would let his eyes speak for him. I've waited for three summers, but his heart has been heavy since four, knowing is painful, and more is painful when your heart is like him, he wouldn't let me see his pain, he kept smiling through it all and held me when i needed him more.

Cruel is the fate and cruelest is in the knowing of it all.

What do you think about Siya-Ram? I really wanted to know your thoughts on them, considering all of the debates surrounding them especially Janaki's second exile.

These days my mind has often lingered on them, and maybe it is my mood swings but I find myself tearing up thinking about them a lot. When I think about them, I see them as lovers, a young couple in a loving marriage and then I remember the exiles and the doomed incidents. All for the welfare of us, their children.

Seeta’s second exile is a debated topic, people finding themselves blaming Rama for it. It is the same Rama who vanquished Ravana, the same Rama who wept and wept himself unconscious in agony of being separated from his wife. It is the same Rama who in grief had wandered asking trees and animals if they had seen Seeta, his deer-eyed wife, who is being accused of not trusting the wife he holds dearer than his own life.

Introspection finds people, it found me through them. No one doubts Seeta as they had done during that time, we point our fingers at Rama instead, do we not? How could he cast away his pious and devoted wife just because of some rumours and gossips?

Did Rama not take the accusations and blame on himself, and gave Seeta her well deserved respect and love that she is worthy of? I remember Krishna’s marriage to the sixteen thousand and one hundred captives of Narakasura. People condemn him for it, calling him a womaniser and what not. But the women were hailed as the junior queens of Dvaraka during that era, no one dared questioning their chastity. They too were Shri themselves.

Narayana can tolerate everything except for insults against Narayani, it is a well known fact.

Seeta was a woman of strength, merit and virtues. She was Shri, the supreme mother of the universe. Earth parted beneath her feet when she spoke, “If I have never thought about any other man than Shri Rama and if he knows it, then the earth may swallow me whole.”

She knew she was never unloved. Her husband had made a gold statue of her instead of taking a second wife for the ashwamedha yajna, he had denied heaven without her. The crown was never of importance to him, unless of course it meant that Seeta would become the queen- then Rama had accepted the crown and made her sit on the throne.

Let’s come to another of the main points here.

Ayodhya’s people were questioning the queen. As a subject, would you want your king to prefer his family more or the citizens of his kingdom? What Rama did was to maintain the stability of his kingdom. Furthermore, I can say for sure, had Rama ignored the people’s questions and turned a blind eye to it, today people would still be accusing and tearing down Janaki.

My point still stands. We accuse Rama today because they had accused Seeta yesterday. Rama did what he did so that the next day, people might blame him but never doubt Seeta.

Seeta and Rama deserved a lifetime of happiness, a love so great, no separation, no exile and no society could ever erase it.

There I said it. No one can make me call their relationship misogynistic or patriarchal.
