I realllllly did not expect we would be seeing Essek in season 1 of The Legend of Mighty Nein and I am beyondddddd thrilled

With the summary by Prime it sounds like the beacon will be a topic in season 1 already so I'm really curious how they will change the story

Also, seeing that Matt will be voicing Essek in the show got me HYPED

It's actually insane to me that we're 2 seasons in and we haven't yet actually 'met' Lestat - one of the main characters

I never actually realized that until Sam pointed it out but every Lestat until now has been Louis'/Armand's memories of him or a figment of Louis' imagination

The whole story of 2 seasons was told by Louis and Armand and they're both subjective and unreliable narrators

I actually love how they played with that in some episodes, like when Louis was unsure if it was raining or not on that one day. It seems like an insignificant detail but it really shows how everything we were told by now were memories of only two of these characters.

That being said I'm curious what we will learn in season 3 and beyond excited for it!

I actually would have loved for Caduceus to cast Eyes of the Grave "just to be safe" when the Mighty Nein first met Bells Hells and then doing a dramatic double-take when he realizes Laudna detects as undead

I'm on my rewatch of the Mighty Nein campaign and in episode 14 when Molly talks about his past/re-awakening after they meet Cree

Knowing about the nine eyes and the somnovem I'm just sitting there feeling like I'm going to go crazy when he just casually mentions the 9 eyes on him that are not tattoos but something different he doesn't know and he just worked them into his actual tattoos

The scenes with Cree also get so much more meaning knowing about the Tomb Takers and everything that went down with Vess

It just makes me think, what if Molly WAS interested in finding out about his past life? I'm sure the Nein would have looked into it now that they had a starting point with Cree

Would Molly still be alive? Or would he have become Lucien/Nonagon again either way??

I feel like my head is about to implode

Ah yes throwback to the time before I ever started watching critical role when all I knew about the mighty nein were some snippets from Youtube compilations, so I thought Taliesin played two different characters at the same time

Then found out about episode 26

And immediately thought that Veth was similarly the character AFTER Nott, so I was confused that I could find nothing about Nott's death online
