It was a bright 1982 night. Yoongi was residing in a VIP area of the darkly lit club. He was keenly aware of all the eyes on him. It had been this way for years (no really, years). People found his dark eyes so enticing, his hair so silky, his flawless skin so touchable, and his glinting smile could leave anyone swooning. But all these were carefully laid traps, and mortals fell prey to them every time.
That night Yoongi was watching a young mortal man who had also been getting stared at all night. He had a jawline that only seemed to sharpen when he smiled and laughed. His plush lips would push into a pucker every time he talked, making them utterly kissable. Everyone thought he was the epitome of beauty, but Yoongi knew better. The attractive young man could be more attractive still. All he needed was a little something extra, and Yoongi could give it to him.
Yoongi waved the attractive man over with a singular slender finger. The man bid goodbye to his friends and started to head over to the VIP section.
Good, Yoongi thought to himself, He comes when he’s called.
“Hi,” the young man said. Yoongi resisted the urge to criticize his overly simple and casual greeting. He was beautiful, but he had a history of driving away any potential lovers by beings too coarse.
“What’s your name, pretty?” Yoongi asked.
“Jimin,” he said, answering without even blushing a little. Clearly, getting called pretty was a common occurrence for him.
“Aren’t you going to ask me what my name is?” Yoongi asked, tapping the armrest of the couch impatiently.
“Aren’t you going to ask me to sit down?” Jimin retaliated.
Oh, good. He’s smart too, Yoongi thought while gesturing to the empty spot beside him. Jimin sat down with a pleased smile aimed right at Yoongi.
“So, what’s your name?” he finally asked.
“Yoongi,” he said, introducing himself. He let his arm come to rest on the back of the couch, just behind where Jimin sat. Jimin noticed his shift, and laughed just a little.
“So, you like me Yoongi?” he asked, eyes and smile glistening. Yoongi couldn’t tell if he hated or loved how forward Jimin was.
He wasn’t sure how to respond, so he opted for honesty, “Yes.”
“Good,” Jimin said, scooting a little closer to his new VIP friend, “I like you too.”
Yoongi looked long and hard into Jimin’s eyes, who was quickly losing hold of his inhibitions. When Yoongi smiled Jimin didn’t even flinch at his fangs.
“This is all going so splendidly,” Yoongi purred to himself, but Jimin still responded with a dazed nod. After that Yoongi dipped down into the crook of his new companion’s neck. To anyone else at the club it looked like Yoongi was kissing Jimin’s neck, but it was so much more.
