Iraq in 1980 Was Not an Ally the Way That Israel Is Today, as a Democracy Defending Itself Against the Islamic Regime

if you’re seeing this post it means you need to keep going. no ifs, and or buts. it’s scary right now. it’s really scary. but we’ve been here for thousands of years and we will always be here. you are so so brave that you’ve made it this far.
please be safe brcause it can be really dangerous depending on where you are but please never give up
i love you 💙
It's insane how 18 year olds on Tumblr from the west think they understand anything about the Middle East and write posts where they explain what's really going on here.
I mean, wow! You guys are so extremely up your ass.
Me: sitting in a safe room hearing booms.
Westerns: So let me tell you exactly what is happening in the Middle East. Also, all Israelis are born evil. Long live the Iran regime they're so peaceful cute blorbos. Yay! Missiles on Israel! People dying is so awesome! Also, the Houthis are brave slave owners. It's so brave these days to have slaves.
ppl acting like the strike on the IR is “unprovoked” as if they and their multiple proxy terror orgs haven’t already been shooting thousands of rockets and drones at israel over the last 2 years 🙄

love when there’s like 4 people online and we keep reblogging the same posts from each other. literally just 4 bitches hanging out and telling each other “exactlyyyyy”
...wait people are seriously upset that a Gazan aid foundation is started/run by Israelis? Ah, it's because of a *checks notes* conflict of interest between Israelis and... giving food to Gazans? Do people honestly think Israelis despise Palestinians that much? Do people really view Israelis as such monsters that they don't consider WHY Israelis would want a way to distribute aid so carefully? It's for the same reasons Palestinians are getting fed up with Hamas— aid that goes into Gaza gets taken by Hamas, leaving the people starving. Hell, there are UN reports stating that enough food and aid was going into Gaza that every person could have around 2000+ calories, but for some reason it wasn't being distributed. The reason is Hamas.
The blockade right now is getting such results because now Hamas doesn't have resources to steal. Israelis want a win-win where Hamas doesn't get their resources but Palestinians do (because, surprise, Israelis don't want them to starve, either. It almost as if we're human). So making a funded food distribution network that doesn't just let resources in how they've been through other organizations who clearly aren't doing it properly is literally the best solution.
For people upset that members were/are part of the military... dude like half if not all the country has ties to the military. I'm not blind, either, I get why it looks bad, military funding for Israel is down right now— oh wait nothings been cut yet? Oh and the funding they'd get from rerouting humanitarian aid would be a dent in the funding they'd get by just declaring it for military purposes? Ah, my bad, it looks bad because... um... it's a "deliberate distraction" to the Gazan war and "makes aid conditional on Israel's political and military aims".
I... I don't know how to tell you guys this but... if you think giving aid in a deliberately structured way that ensures Hamas doesn't get it is a distraction and too "conditional" then this war will never be over. If you think politics makes an aid group impossible to be impartial, then you also fundamentally don't understand how aid groups work— every group is political, but if they're Israeli then they're EXTRA political, is that how it works?
Every time I lift my head up and see the beauty of Israel I feel so complete.
not even 30 minutes later and the road is blocked because of a protest
I am sorry but if you think that the Jews who say out loud "we want to live in peace with Palestinians and we want a two state solution" are the bad guys While the people shouting "death to Israel", "Israeli settlers should be killed", "we need another October 7th", "Jews dont deserve a country" and etc are the good guys Then your moral compass is fucked
No one thinks that Israelis saying they want the two state solution are bad. But most Israelis don't want that, they don't want Palestinians or - Arabs at that - to be their neighbour. Most Israelis cheer for the genocide, it means more space for them.
No more people should be killed, Israelis included. October 7 was horrible, but so was every day for Palestinians since 1948. Jews can have a country. Go to the US, take Texas. That's bigger in land than Palestine anyway. Just don't take land from Arabs who were already torn due to colonization.
Have you even seen a map of the ME?
"dont take land from the arabs"
oh no the poor arabs, who finally have someone standing against their thousands of miles and hundreds of years old empire!
