something that just occurred to me is that this is the FIRST season jamie’s away from richmond that breakup is FRESH

I am so fucking excited to slowly learn more about the girls bc one of the best things about the first three seasons of ted lasso for me was learning about the ensemble cast and holding onto little details and throwaway lines that really made the team feel like a team

it’s been a while since I’ve rewatched the show so I’d have to go back, but stuff like bumbercatch knitting as a hobby, colin not being able to drive his lamborghini, I think it was cockburn but he and jamie always shared axe/lynx body spray or whatever it was in their lockers - stuff like that

ted lasso came out in a formative time for me and got me through some rough periods in my life, I remember staying up and watching that 2 hour finale like my life depended on it…seeing all the characters go thru a time skip is making me super nostalgic, sentimental, and makes me feel like I’m watching my baby grow up. everyone’s living and learning, it still feels like the same show, but it’s changed, and that’s okay.

goddamn as someone who played competitive sports for over a decade, ted lasso hits the spot for me. sports are fun!! it’s electric, the energy is incredible, the community, the atmosphere, the love for your team - that’s something that never goes away. you ALWAYS want to be around your sport and I love that this show emphasizes the love athletes have for what they do
