It annoys me when I see critiques about Disney's The Little Mermaid always focusing on criticizing everything Ariel does (including the slut-shaming "she left her family for the dick" posts) but conveniently ignores the shit Triton pulled. When he saw Ariel's grotto and her collection, which probably took years to complete, he nukes the shit out of it, turning it all to ash within minutes.
