A scene. Eddie walks past Sally’s house, but he does it frequently in one day. Everytime, he says, “Good morning, Miss Starlet! Nice to see ya, Miss Starlet! Lovely day we’re havin’, Miss Starlet!”

Sally sighs, and says after the 15th iteration, “Is it really necessary to greet me every time you walk past?”

Eddie thinks sheepishly and then says, “Well… What else am I supposed to do?”

“You don’t have to say anything!” She insists. Eddie looks at her in horror, because that’s not Mailmanly at all.

Time passes, and Barnaby happens to be laying around under a tree where Eddie is mulling over a solution to this problem. Barnaby pipes up to get rid of him, “Have you tried barking?”

The next time he walks past Sally, he opens up his mouth to do his usual greeting, then stops, and then lets out a odd barking noise before cheerfully walking away.

Do you guys think Sonic would be one of those moms that waits for their kid right on the porch when said kid comes home late? And by kid I mean Tails... like...

Tails walks back inside the house, the time being currently 11pm. He sighs, thinking he got away with whatever he did.

The lights flick on. Boom, Sonic on a chair.

Sonic: "Yo."

Tails: "...Yo."

Sonic: "... Where were you?"

Tails: "..." Pulls out a broken robotnic robot from behind him.

Sonic: ". . ."

Tails: ". . ."

And then Sonic would scold Tails for the following 30 minutes about going out at dark without letting him or any of their friends know where he was. And then Tails would mumble something about Sonic not being his mom, and then Sonic would go into another rant about how he basically raised Tails and blah blah blah.
