anything romantic in nature that I talk about with any character, whether it be actual content or just my babbling, means they’ve been aged up to 18+ (unless it’s a brief section where the character and reader are meant to be the same age, like a little flashback or something such as in that one Lancer x reader, ya know?)
that’s for my own comfort because ew I don’t wanna think about anything romantic with a child and for everyone else’s comfort because ew I don’t think y’all want to think about anything romantic with a child (and if you do then you can kindly scurry the fuck off my blog)
obviously I will still write platonic/family stuff with readers and kids, but not romantic stuff
I’ve been writing this way for a long time and usually just putting ADT/Adulttale/etc. or a disclaimer in the beginning but I got tired of doing that and figured a blanket statement at the VERY TOP OF MY BLOG would be a better idea
so this is just a lil announcement both to update y’all that I’ve fixed my header and also if it was at all unclear, any canon character who’s a child has been AGED UP for romantic stuff, because I don’t write romantic stuff with kids
any attempt to hate on me for this decision or for writing romantic content with aged-up characters will be lovingly DELETED and anyone attempting to be rude to me about this will be YE OLDE BLOCKEDE bc I don’t do drama =)

failing class anon here, it's only now occurred to me that some blogs have a minors dni rule and even though i don't see anything of the sort here, i wanna say i am a minor in case that's a problem here. sorry for not specifying in the original ask!

honestly, I would PREFER that minors didn’t interact and stuff, but I don’t have a hard and fast rule about not being here at all.
my only rule for minors on this blog really is that if you’re a minor, DO NOT INTERACT WITH MY NSFW/18+ CONTENT.
and that for romantic requests, I ALWAYS age the characters up. there’s no wiggle room for me on that part. so for your request, it would be in a college setting and the characters will be 18+. (with the implication ofc that for those requests you’d be around the same age)
so yeah, you’re welcome to be here and enjoy my writing, as long as you don’t touch my NSFW content and you understand that I always write romantic requests with the characters being over 18!

anyway if Kris tries to tough it out in a DARK World while they’re sick, they will 1000% end up passing out from fever
they’ll wake up only to find their S/O sitting by their bedside talking about “ok Kris sweetheart I’m gonna take you back home so you can rest”
with Ralsei over in the corner cooking up a get-well potion for the road
and Kris just looks over, makes DIRECT eye contact with Ralsei, and they’re like “you called my partner. you somehow reached into the LIGHT World, and did the equivalent of ‘come pick up your kid from school, they’re sick’.”
and Ralsei just shrugs and is like “well you need to go home and rest”
then Kris is all “I’m not that sick”
“Kris you FAINTED in the middle of a battle, you are VERY sick”
“yes, well, Susie agreed with me that they should come take you home. and when Susie and I agree on something, you know it-”
“YOU’RE A RAT, RALSEI!!!!”
and then Kris just devolves into coughing and proves Ralsei’s point and they can’t argue anymore

they’re not TOO much different I guess… their smile is a little softer and more genuine, they’re a bit more chill? still carrying around a ton of trauma but it’s a bit less overwhelming/different in nature than the trauma Chara Classic has
and my headcanons for DR Chara include that they have horrible allergies, so in addition to the perpetual rosy complexion in their cheeks, their nose is also constantly pink haha
have a version with and without their reading glasses because I cannot decide which is cuter (ok well, I personally think their glasses are cute…)
they may be a grown person but they are still babey =)

DELTARUNE CHARA
They’re Asriel’s roommate at university! Although the two of them clashed a bit at first, they grew close pretty quickly. The fact that Asriel was able to deal with Chara’s anxiety (thanks to having dealt with Kris’ all through their childhood) was a big help. They appreciate that he can read the cues as to when they’re getting too anxious and that he asks what would help rather than not pay attention and assume solutions.
They’re… actually very shy in this universe. Though it doesn’t stop them from butting heads with other people if they get too worked up, they deliberately try to stay away from others. They don’t have the same searing hatred for humanity that their classic counterpart does; however, they do still kind of struggle with feelings of misanthropy. Their dislike of other people comes more from being shy and anxious than anything else. Thankfully, Asriel’s influence is slowly helping them come out from their shell.
Politeness and propriety are very important to them. Regardless of their anxiety and not being fond of people, they will never be out-and-out rude to someone unless they're pushed to it. Even then, it takes more than one or two things to get them to lose their cool. They maintain a surprising amount of social grace, despite the fact that they don’t enjoy socializing. They just don't see the need to not be cruel to people if it isn't warranted.
Works just as hard as Asriel and probably sleeps half as much? They still don’t really care for energy drinks the way he does, but they’re just as bad in that they can’t live without mochas from the campus coffee shop. … Preferably with every single chocolate topping that exists. They didn’t know about chocolate whipped creambefore they came to college, and they don’t really know how they’re going to live without it now.
They come from a pretty well-to-do family, and unfortunately, money is how their parents control them. They’ve lived a very isolated life up until university, which is probably part of the reason they have so much anxiety around other people and the reason they’re still so good at appearing polished in public. Although they love their parents, they also know that anything they do which displeases their mother and father will result in being temporarily cut off from their parents’ finances. For everything. Whenever their parents punish them like that, they have to scrape by begging meals and lodging from their friends. And given that they’re incredibly lacking in the friends department… well, let’s just say they’ve been trained very well to listen to their parents.
(That said, their parents generally don’t care about Chara unless there’s something specific they want Chara to do or not do. So Chara isn’t obligated to visit for holidays or stick to a strict schedule unless their parents say something about it. Chara has a pretty good amount of freedom ― until they don’t.)
They’ve almost always got their nose in a book. Whether it’s a textbook or something recreational, they’re insatiable when it comes to reading. Books have always been their escape, and school as a child planted an enthusiasm for learning in them. If they’re not gardening or sleeping, they’re reading. They’ll also happily take recommendations from other people, and books are one of the few things they can talk about without feeling too awkward.
Reigning allergy monarch, holy fucking hell. You will absolutely not find anyone with worse allergies outside a bubble in the hospital. Doesn’t matter what the season is, their body finds something to overreact to. Pollen in the spring and summer, dust in the fall and winter, animals and perfumes and spices… they’re always kind of sniffly. On the plus side, it means they keep themself stocked up on tissues for their room. (In public, they usually carry a handkerchief. Yes, it’s embroidered with their name. Yes, they did that themself. Yes, it’s cute.) On the down side… well, they’re sneezing nonstop. Not only do their cheeks sport a constant pink tinge, so does their poor nose.
They’re awfully scared to get close to people, but they fold like a cheap tent as soon as someone shows them kindness. Though they don’t have quite as many trust issues as ‘Chara Classic’, they still worry that they’re not an interesting person to be friends with and they think they’re terribly plain-looking and they’re so… meek. What could anyone see in someone like them? They don’t understand what about them would attract someone else, whether as a friend or a romantic partner. They… will certainly take the hugs and kisses, though. Just ease them into it and they should melt into it without much issue.
Their coping mechanisms of smiling and laughing a lot still make themselves known here, although not quite as strongly. They smile a lot simply because they really want to be a happy person, and they smile when they’re uncomfortable in particular in an effort to make themself feel better. Their laugh is so anxious whenever it’s not because of true amusement. Of course, they lose their shit at puns. If you can really get them laughing, they snort. And then their face turns super red… they’re a little embarrassed of their snorting laugh, but, they don’t seem to understand how cute it is!
Asriel… needs to help them in their fashion choices. It’s not that their fashion sense is bad, it’s mainly just that they don’t have variety. Their wardrobe consists of overly casual sweaters, tank tops, and shorts… and formal dresses and suits. There’s no in between, and sometimes you need a little in between. They would like to expand their style; they simply don’t have friends to tell them what looks good on them. Thank God Asriel is fashionable!
‘Chara Classic’ takes forever to cave in and get reading glasses despite the fact that they struggle to read smaller font sizes and things that aren’t right up to their face. Chara here has been nearsighted and had reading glasses practically since birth, so they wear them whenever they read, and if they’re driving. Occasionally they forget, and if that happens, they’ll usually get headaches from eye strain.
Their family has strong magic, and Chara’s magic is… weak, making them feel like a disappointment. Much as they try, they can’t muster up a lot of power. Their magic is based around SOULs, allowing them to manipulate the status of other people’s SOULs. Blue magic, green, orange, purple, yellow… they should be able to use those things on other people. They can’t really, though. They know a lot about magic in general, and what they should be able to do. Their magic instead works so much better on plants than on people, for whatever reason. They can stop and accelerate plant growth, prevent things from growing in a certain area, that kind of thing. It’s borderline useless on people, although… they can easily see other people’s SOULs and sense if something, well, strange is going on. (That’s why they’re so taken aback when they meet Kris.)
Would love a partner who would just… take care of them? Accept them, flaws and all? Pick them up and make sure they’re fed and sheltered whenever their parents pull the rug out from under them? Laugh when they lean in for a kiss only to pull away because they have to sneeze, instead of being annoyed at the interruption? Gently perch their reading glasses onto their face if they happen to forget, rather than not even notice? Hold them really close and kiss their forehead whenever they’re anxious? Call them old-fashioned pet names like “dear” and “my love” just to see them blush instead of acting irritated that they blush easily? Think they’re just as handsome in a crop top and shorts as they are in a tuxedo? Someone who will just take all of them, and not pick and choose which of Chara’s pieces they want. That’s all it would take to make them happy ― someone who just… loves them.
