The 7-year idol BOYFRIEND has appeared on ‘THE UNIT’. On the night of the 4th, BOYFRIEND appeared all dressed up for their performance on KBS 2TV entertainment program ‘THE UNIT’. They flaunted a powerful performance and attracted attention. Then, Donghyun said, “We hope that show becomes a chance for us to start again, not as the end”. The members also thought, “We wonder, we’ve debuted for how long already but why are we not doing well.” Continuing on, “‘THE UNIT’ is like a beginning for us,” and also said that I’ll do their best on the show.

BOYFRIEND members Donghyun, Jeongmin, Kwangmin and Minwoo are confirmed to participate in KBS Idol Rebooting Project ‘THE UNIT’. BOYFRIEND who debuted in 2011 is a group that has been promoting actively both domestically and overseas as an idol of 7 years. Through ‘THE UNIT’, they are going to show their true value properly. 

Through this opportunity of participating in ‘THE UNIT’, BOYFRIEND plans to properly demonstrate their polished skills they have acquired throughout the years. As a program that hunts for the talent and potential of the participants, BOYFRIEND will show their power that they have gathered for 6 years. BOYFRIEND who has done powerful, dandy, sharp choreography, refreshing concepts etc., the question of whether BOYFRIEND will receive recognition of their true value through the program garners attention. On another note, the first broadcast for ‘THE UNIT’ is on October 28 and the program will have a total of 14 episodes.
