my 2026 journal prompts + random journal ideas
2026 prompts
1) look back on 2025
what went well?
what didn’t go so well?
what do you wish to change?
what do you wish to continue?
2) think about your “ideal” self
what does she look like?
how does she behave?
what is her mindset like?
what are her hobbies?
what are her likes & dislikes?
how does she take care of herself? what are her habits like?
what/who are her inspirations?
what about her makes her “ideal” to you? how can your habits get closer to hers?
3) write about what your dream 2026 would look like
no limits! don’t worry about being “realistic” or what you think you’re capable of. what do you actually want?
4) write down your primary goals, and condense those goals into three main areas
ex.) relationships, health & fitness, finances, etc.
within those three areas, choose one primary goal to focus on. try to choose one that can also help you achieve your other goals. for example, if you want to go for more walks and lose weight, the primary goal of walking x amount each week can also help you lose weight long term.

꒰ა ♡ ໒꒱ how to make 2026 your year : the fail-proof way { pt.1 }
living as a side character in your OWN life is so 2025. it's time to step up our games and become the absolute highest level of authority because babe, your life is a canvas and the paintbrush rests in your hands. so pick it up and add some color. maybe pink.
firstly, YOU ARE NOT BEHIND. you are not wasting time. you are doing okay. you are exactly where you were meant to be, do not worry. now let's get started.
✦ . ⁺ . ✦ . ⁺ . ✦ chapter one : self & mental health
your identity, sense of self, mental health are probably the most important things ever, esp mental health. compromising your mental health for something or someone is never worth it. if something or someone makes you question why you're even alive.. girl. let it go. you will be so much happier without it. i dont mean this in the context of education and exams etc though haha i know those things make us question our existence as well but that's something that actually creates our future so forever be grateful girls <3 there are many other women who do not even have access to the internet or know that they too are as equal as men.
anyway coming back to the topic of yourself and mental health !! here are some things you can do <3
⋆ check in with yourself everyday : write how you're feeling, your wins, your losses, something that made you feel happy, something that made you feel sad and a list of everything you did and how it all made you feel
⋆ create a me-time : spend some time alone, do something you like, turn your phone off or turn on dnd and just be alone and relax
⋆ have atleast one creative and super easy and fun hobby : for eg coloring or drawing silly stickman comics or wtv. make it as easy and relaxing as possible. there is no need for it to be perfect.
⋆ stretch. please just trust me
⋆ fight your insecurities : you hate ponytails because it exposes your side profile which you don't like? wear a ponytail. your skin is acting up and your makeup looks cakey and sad? wipe allat up and embrace that gorgeous natural skin. you feel like your too puffy and bloated to wear a cute tank top? wear that tank top. embrace your insecurities like trophies. you are a goddess lolz stop wasting all that energy by pouring into self hate.
⋆ stop letting social media curated labels define you : you don't need a defined aesthetic to have your shit together or to be that girl. aesthetics, like personalities, are not created overnight or after one big shopping haul. we live in a capitalistic world and aesthetics are just a product of it. but hey it isn't a bad thing to have an aesthetic you like.. go ahead. but don't let it be the only thing that defines who you are. evolve at your own pace! aesthetics and personalities cannot be bought and sold. they evolve as you grow.

Two weeks ago I started my winter semester course! With my interest in criminal law, I thought criminology might be a good minor to have so I’m taking one of the prequisite courses over the winter! That’s only 1/2 done if I decide to actually minor in criminology which I think I’ll decide after I compare the overlap from the criminology minor to my law BA. How is your winter break? 🫶🏼

I’m glad I really took the time to decompress over break because it’s the only way I’m gonna survive this last week and catch up. Productive but sleepy day, I only got 4 hours of sleep and it was NOT sufficient for what I had planned. I also had practice with my dance team from 7pm-9pm which I was dreading but it was actually really nice to get my body moving after sitting at a desk for 10 hours.
⋆ how to stay warm without looking bulky ❆
29 days till christmas ❆
i refuse to freeze AND i refuse to look like a huge puffy jacket with legs. winter really tries to humble us but no babe we can be warm and still cute
layer the smart way:
thin thermals under your outfit so nobody knows
a soft long sleeve or knit over it
then your cute jacket that is not giving michelin mascot
and.. you stay warm without bulky!!
focus on your core:
if your chest is warm your whole body is warm. zip your jacket halfway so you stay cute but cozy. your grandma was right and i’m admitting it publicly oopsies
choose fabrics that do the work for you:
fleece lined leggings, fleece socks, fleece everything. it is basically cheating the weather. you’ll feel like a heated princess but still look put together.
accessories are secret warmth:
scarves make you look expensive and keep you warm
ear warmers are adorable and life saving
cute gloves so your fingers do not fall off
it is literally free warmth without ruining the outfit.
extra tiny hacks:
tuck shirts into leggings so cold air cannot attack you
wear long socks under jeans nobody will know
choose mid or long coats for warmth without puffiness
you CAN be warm and pretty <3

⋆ winter glow-up guide ❆
35 days till christmas ❆
winter glow is different from summer glow. it’s softer, deeper, healthier. these are the habits that actually change how you look, not just aesthetically, but physically.
this is how you get a real winter glow:
double moisturize — apply a hydrating serum on damp skin, then seal it with a thick cream. this prevents winter dehydration lines and dullness.
use a humidifier — this is the #1 winter glow secret. your skin, lips, hair, and mood will all improve in 3 days
warm (not hot) showers — hot water damages your skin barrier and dries your hair. warm water keeps you glowing
protein + healthy fats — salmon, eggs, avocado, nuts. winter skin needs omega-3s for real radiance
drink electrolytes — hydration hits different when you add minerals. your skin looks plumper instantly
real beauty upgrades that show in a week:
exfoliate gently — once a week only. smooth skin reflects light better and makeup sits flawlessly
fix your sleep window — going to bed at the same time is more important than the hours. your face looks less puffy and clearer
take vitamin D — winter glow dies without it. boosts mood, immunity, and skin brightness
3–5 minutes of gua sha — real lymphatic drainage = sharper jawline, reduced puffiness, healthier glow
wash your pillowcases often — winter acne and dullness improve immediately
simple habits that make you prettier consistently:
drink something warm every morning — boosts digestion, circulation, and gives your face a natural flush
stop skipping hair oiling — winter dryness destroys shine. oil once a week for softness and less breakage
walk 10–20 minutes daily — improves glow more than any product by increasing blood flow
keep your hands + neck moisturized — these areas show aging first during winter
apply blush even on no-makeup days — winter flush makes you look alive instantly
winter glow is about nourishment. soft skin, warm routines, healthy habits, and taking care of your body like you love it. you’re allowed to feel radiant even in the cold months ♡

This weekend I’m out of town for my second Mock Trial competition. I’m so excited and I really hope I can win a Witness Award, I was almost there last competition but fucked up at the end which tanked my score :( I need a redemption era.
It’s almost thanksgiving break which means the end of this terrible semester!! I got registered for my spring courses today so Law101, Common Law, and Public Law, here I come!

how to make a mini library of alexandria (on a laptop) and actually use it: short guide
So what do I mean by this
Basically
Read a lot. Learn a lot by reading a lot
Knowing where to read a lot, have variety ykwim
Be smart but the chaotic academic way
In this age, it is very important to educate yourself if the world won’t do it for you
WHERE TO FIND INFORMATION
First, how do you find places to lurk in and gain info from (for books):
Where to find recommendations : literally anywhere but my favorite place is pinterest
Read for free: onlinereadfreenovel.com , novel80.com,
Download for free : OceanofPDF , Planet eBook, d-pdf.com, pdfdrive.com, even pinterest (I once found the entire cruel prince series and the heroes of olympus series on it)
Yeah a library is a place of books, but most importantly, it's a hub of knowledge . Some places where you can learn a lot of include: articles, channels, interviews, websites, audiobooks, aka the media
HOW TO LEARN AND INTERACT WITH THIS INFO
How to force yourself to learn it in the first place: Have the page up and let it sit there on an interesting page (or article or point of the movie) so that when you remember and glance at it you’ll want to read or know more and keep going.
The best way to know a lot about something is to deep dive into it and the best way to do that is to rabbit hole. For medias and books, you can start by researching:
Their sources
Their author/directors/creator’s : other works, inspirations or any considered successor, life (specific experiences that might have shaped who they are)
How to interact with the knowledge you’ve just learn
Discuss it, debate it, teach it, sing it, write it, just share it
HOW TO ORGANIZE ALL THESE BOOKS (what I do)
Make folders on File Explorer or alternatives (for e.g. i have a folder of all my books and another for my movies with subfolders)
Make lists of books you have and books on the tbr list
Sites/apps for notetaking : Notion, Obsidian, Arena, Milanote
this is kinda rushed and weird but I liked making this so yeah!

You’re sitting in your 2000s Tuscan home, The Sundays is playing on your radio. You’re sitting on your bed in your decorated room, evening light pouring through the window. The cinnamon roll you’re eating tastes heavenly, and you bet the hot cocoa and marshmallows taste just as good. You’re about to play the next season of The Vampire Diaries when suddenly your best friend calls you and insists that you watch it together. So she comes over, you two make iced s'mores lattes and snickerdoodle cookies, and watch it together.

my daily wellness focused routine . ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁˖ . ݁༉‧₊˚.
hello angels, sorry for the long break - i was travelling/away for most of july! during that time i really had the opportunity to reflect on my routines and what about them i value most and i realised a large part of that is the things i do for my physical and mental wellbeing. i thought id share what a wellness focused day looks like for me. while i aim to do all these things every day, sometimes it just isn’t possible so please don’t be discouraged if your routine doesn’t look exactly like this. the most important wellness habits and routines are the ones that make you feel good and that you can actually feel motivated and able to do!! i included benefits/a description of why i incorporate each of these things into my routine - enjoy.
morning
wake up and open curtains + windows. boosts vitamin d and helps regulate your circadian rhythm.
drink a glass of water + take any medications/vitamins (ensure it’s alright to take them on an empty stomach first!). your body needs to be rehydrated after sleep, plus water first thing aids digestion.
5 - 10 minutes of yoga or stretching. i find it reduces my stress, helps wake my body up and prepares me for the day.
15 - 20 minutes of gentle active movement. for me this is often pilates! i find this again aids with digestion and also helps get my blood flowing, waking me up.
brush my teeth. brushing before my first meal helps to prevent the erosion of enamel!
ice my face. this definitely wakes me up and reduces any overnight puffiness.
make a cup of tea. my morning favourites at the moment are peppermint or green tea. peppermint helps digestion also and can be a good caffeine free way to wake yourself up. alternatively green tea is caffeinated but is great for your brain and overall immune system!
drink a small glass of green juice. my homemade green juice is celery, kale, green apple, lemon and ginger! it’s so wonderful for my skin and allows me get several fruits and veggies into my day with minimal effort.
fill up my large waterbottle. even if im not particularly thirsty first thing, it’s always good to keep my bottle on hand and full to encourage me to keep drinking water!
make a balanced breakfast. i normally aim for at least two fruits or vegetables, some form of protein and so on.
clean teeth + mouthwash + floss. i own a water flosser and LOVE it - so easy to use and better for the environment! helps remove plaque and keep teeth nice and clean.
gently tongue scrape. helps eliminate any odour.
gua sha face + neck/chest. improves circulation + depuffs.
apply am skincare + suncream always! essential for protection against skin cancer and unevenness.
lymphatic drainage focusing on my stomach! i struggle with hormonal bloating and this REALLY makes a difference.
go on a walk outdoors. i love letting the sun and fresh air touch my skin as soon as i can. for me a walk is the perfect way of doing so but if you can’t do that even just sitting by an open window helps.
write my to do list for the day! this helps me focus on my goals + plans whether they be short or long term in order to help me stay motivated.
evening
refill my water bottle, hydrating before bed is so important.
have a shower/bath. for me baths are extremely relaxing and help me get into a sleepy mood. i like to use lavender or other clean, peaceful scents before bed.
make a cup of tea. my favourites in the evening are either a hibiscus or a peppermint tea!
journal for a few minutes. just briefly whether it’s to reflect on the day or what im grateful for, journalling always puts me in a positive mood.
yoga/stretching for five minutes. i love to do yoga before bed. it helps stretch out any pains from the day and gets me into a peaceful mindset.
water floss + mouthwash + clean teeth + tongue scrape to fully ensure no bad bacteria is left in the mouth.
do pm skin care + gua sha.
red light led face mask for 10+ minutes, one of my fave skincare products! so beneficial for anything from wrinkles to acne scarring and it immediately makes my skin feel smooth and look glowy.
massage oil into hair for 5 minutes or so. helps stimulate hair production + growth as well as encouraging hair health!
put hair into bonnet. helps prevent breakage + protects new growth.
do ‘turndown shift’. make sure rooms tidy and im all ready for the next day.
read!! i never really need to put this on my schedule (i read every single day) but it’s still so important to me. i always feel better days when ive read versus days when i havent.
fill water again if needed.
switch off devices and get cozy into bed with a book or journal or any form of entertainment. blue light kills sleep cells and killing sleep cells kills the growth and repair that your body is doing.
fall asleep at a reasonable hour, comfy, relaxed + stress free.
thank you for reading angels! i obviously don’t do this every single day but i do aim to/pick the habits that serve me most in the moment. what are some wellness habits that have changed your lives?
from, m.
