It’s a shame that more families have to grieve and bury loved ones because of how these cops undoubtedly handled the situation because of the color of their skin. Our system is fucked and the lack of accountability that is attached to each and every one of these senseless murders is disgusting. A badge continues to give trigger-happy cops a license to kill without consequence. We need change. PLEASE wake up if you think that this is not a race issue… PLEASE wake the fuck up if you think any of these tragedies would not have ended differently if any of these victims looked like me. Straight up. It’s our duty as a people no matter what race to get angry and speak up. It’s our duty as HUMANS to not turn a blind eye to these injustices that continue to become the norm. There is no justice. This breaks my heart. Prayers to the families of Philando, Alton, and every other family that has had to endure these same situations. Prayers to our country.
